I always celebrate with a good bottle of Rioja and some dry unlevened cheese biscuits.
That is about as good as it gets.
I am so fond of our Lord I celebrate most nights. Hope this helps.

I wouldn't dare take the bread and wine at the JWs memorial. However, unbeknown to them I have been to our local chapel were I took the bread and wine! Eyeslice
Dear Godisright,
If you truly feel you need to commemorate this, you can be "safe" with following the Jewish calendar. Pesach (Passover) the Holiday that became the Christian "Last Supper" and the Societies Memorial starts this year on April 12 after sundown. I believe that the Society's memorial is congruous with this as well--many years, it is woefully off and this is always a mystery as they puport to follow so closely the Jewish calendar--one year, they weren't even in Nisan!! LOL!!
Anything with leaven in it (incl) baking soda would be "unkosher" for this event (and Jesus was kosher). Your safest bet is to go to your local grocery store, look in the "Kosher Foods" section and get some Matzoh (these are flat crackers-not too tasty, but not vomitous, either)--make sure it is Kosher for passover--it may say Kashrut for Pesach--that's fine. there won't be any leven.
Wine should be kosher wine (again, there should be a section in a local liquor store with Kosher wines) if you want an authentic what-would-jesus-do experience. It's not too expensive for the "sweeter" versions but you can get some very nice ones from Israel.
Meditate as you recreate, what the "covenant" means to you.
Good luck. And many blessings to you.

What I plan to do on this coming memorial day is the same thing Jesus did with his Apostles.....Sit down at the evening supper on Nisian 14th (If that is the right date) and say a prayer of heartfelt Thanks to God. Everyone around the table will partake of the wine and unleavened bread and say another prayer of thanks....Then we will eat our meal as usual.
Thanks to everyone who responded to my post. Im still a little confused.
I have saltines crackers. ingredients are enriched wheat flour, vegetable shortening containing canola oil, corn oil, palm oil, and interesterified soybean oil, salt, yeast, soduim malted barley flour.
Is my crackers unleavend?
I have Welch 100% Grape Juice(Jesus said drink from the viine right?) It is grape juice from concentrate!
Are these good in the eyes of Christ?
I do not have any friends. Let a believer from this message board celebrate the Savior with me in spirit.
Saltines would not do. They use a fast-rising agent like baking soda for their puffiness.
