Many non denominational churches do not require any kind of membership to take communion. It is often done every other week, some every week and some every third Sunday or something on that order. I suggest talking to some ministers about the issue. I know of a an (now) exjw who after the memorial, the next day after his family was gone decided to take communion on his own with a saltine cracker and a small sip of wine and prayer and script with doing it in rememberence of Jesus Christ, taking the body and blood of Christ on his own. You may want to get some different views on this from bible believing churches.

if you believe in jesus, you should drink a glass of wine everyday in commemoration of his sacrifice.

Before you go drinking anyones blood, I suggest you do a little research and find out exactly what it is that you're doing and why you feel you need to do such a strange thing, symbolic or not.

Find out about christianity, religion, God etc. You may feel free to drop the whole lot in time.

I mean, how weird is that....'drink my blood' symbolic or not.

It belongs to another time, another purpose, another form of human control.

Look around and see what religion is doing to the world.

No wonder religious people are totally nuts, if they fall into the trap of strange mental contortions to fit into a control mechanism that demands, 'blood drinking' and in the case of certain other religious, killing of cartoon drawers!

Nuts! Totally Nuts! IMHO of course.

The early Christians used to partake of the bread and wine every week and not as the JWs do once a year, as to where to go to partake I think anywhere as long as it is not a cultic organisation.

The point is that most JWs refuse to participate in the New Covenent by not taking the bread and wine and that means that they are not Christians at all, contrary to what they claim.

Maaan, you are making something simple complicated.

I don't know what I am doing. I want to celebrate this thing the right way, I just don't know how.

But then again, that's the specialty of religion, isn't it? Do you know how to pour yourself cereal in the morning? Then you should be able to handle a little bread and wine ceremony without flubbing it up. I've checked your past posts, and it seems you respect the bible account. So this is what it says:

Mark 14:22 NIV While they were eating, Jesus took bread, gave thanks and broke it, and gave it to his disciples, saying, "Take it; this is my body." 23 Then he took the cup, gave thanks and offered it to them, and they all drank from it. 24 "This is my blood of the [b] covenant, which is poured out for many," he said to them. 25 "I tell you the truth, I will not drink again of the fruit of the vine until that day when I drink it anew in the kingdom of God." 26 When they had sung a hymn, they went out to the Mount of Olives.

So, go out and get yourself some unleavened bread (tortillas are unleavened), a little wine, and a friend or two. Pray together, and sing a little song. Partake. Done.

Here is how it reads in the NWT translation: John 6:53-54--"Accordingly Jesus said to them: "Most truly I say to You, Unless You eat the flesh of the Son of man and drink his blood, you have no life in Yourselves. He that feeds on my flesh and drinks my blood has everlasting life, and I shall resurrect him at the last day;". Matthew 18:20 states-"For where there are two or three gathered together in my name, there I am in their midst." Nowhere in these scriptures or any others did He say that only a certain amount of people only could do this as the Watchtower organization teaches. Jesus words were meant for ALL who would believe on Him and who he really is--THE GREAT I AM! The date of the Memorial that Jehovah's Witnesses will hold on April 12 this year is of little importance. They are what is known as QUARTODECIMANS--those who hold to the practice of this event once a year on the Jewish date of Nisan 14. Get together with two or three other Christians if you can and partake of the bread and wine as Jesus commanded. If you don't know of anyone else you can commune with, read your Bible (hopefully you have a REAL Bible as well as the NWT), say a heartfelt prayer, and partake of the bread and wine. Don't worry about what kind of bread or wine you have as long as you are partaking out of a sincere heart. I wish you well.
