and Thank You Honesty for re-opening an important subject that deserves another look.
The Lord put it on my heart a couple of days ago to phrase the topic "Is it a false teaching as the WTBTS claims." The cults and the skeptics all agree it is false right along with the Watchtower Society. Most of us here realise that the Watchtower rejects it because it is an easy way to lure people away from God and into their snare.

That is so true because when they eliminate the Deity of Christ, they eliminate a personal relationship with Jesus, talking to Jesus, calling on Him, worshipping Jesus, giving glory and honor to Jesus, surrendering ones life to Him, that leaves a gap. A great big empty spot in the heart of the believer. It did me. I missed out on so much .....so did my children.
I have friends now who raised their children in the joy of the Lord, singing and praising Jesus. The children are so happy and free and filled with joy. Thank God my children are raising their children to know the true joy of the Lord! They are so happy! Not one of my grandchildren have sat through a "meeting". They are taught that God is love, love is kind, and life is beautiful!

There you have it...
The real reason the Watchtower denies its followers access to Jesus.

I find the attitude of Zen Ndist, to be hypocritical. ; He or she would be the first to complain of attempts at proselytizing by Christians, yet he seems to have no qualms about proselytizing for a secular humanistic gospel. ; Did you exchange the zealotry of the WT$ for the zealotry of secular humanism?
since when is honesty and accuracy related to secular humanism? ; why would you make such a conclusion?Just curious. ; I do expect to be pilloried for making this observation, as I have found in my journey away from the Borg, that the most antagonistic and venomous proselytizers in public are the secular humanists.
if anything I am an agnostic who is BARELY Zen (^_^) and I dont pretend to KNOW anything beyond my experiences and beliefs about them... I am entitled to my opinions and will back them up with the evidence I have and dont mind at all being shown wrong.
Because I don't think that the website you are pimping is either.

Is Jesus doing his will or God's Will.....He said plainly he is doing God's Will.
The Trinity doesn't hold as Three in one God.
14 When by now the festival was half over, Jesus went up into the temple and began teaching. 15 Therefore the Jews fell to wondering, saying: “How does this man have a knowledge of letters, when he has not studied at the schools?” 16 Jesus, in turn, answered them and said: “What I teach is not mine, but belongs to him that sent me. 17 If anyone desires to do His will, he will know concerning the teaching whether it is from God or I speak of my own originality. 18 He that speaks of his own originality is seeking his own glory; but he that seeks the glory of him that sent him, this one is true, and there is no unrighteousness in him.

No, but the Bible does.
By the way, when Jesus was here on earth, He was fully human. He also was fully God.
Heb 4:15 For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but One who has been tested in every way as we are, yet without sin.
know me?” Nathanael asked. “Before Philip called you, when you were under the fig tree, I saw
you,” Jesus answered.
John 16:29-30 “Ah!” His disciples said. “Now You’re speaking plainly and not using any figurative language. Now we know that You know everything and don’t need anyone to question You.
Matt 9:4 But perceiving their thoughts, Jesus said, “Why are you thinking evil things in your hearts?
Mark 2:6-7 But some of the scribes were sitting there, thinking to themselves: “Why does He speak like this? He’s blaspheming! Who can forgive sins but God alone?”
Luke 9:47 But Jesus, knowing the thoughts of their hearts, took a little child and had him stand next to Him.
Luke 16:15 And He told them: “You are the ones who justify yourselves in the sight of others, but God knows your hearts. -

16 Jesus, in turn, answered them and said: “What I teach is not mine, but belongs to him that sent me.
When I was a JW I misunderstood this too when Jesus would claim God sent Him. Jesus is claiming to be MORE than a man, angel, or spirit. He is claiming oneness with God. He is saying, I am not here on my own, I am not just a mere man. I am of God, from God, equel in nature to God, here because of God, my will is Gods will, God's will is my will. He said I am one with God in my teachings, God is one with me in my teachings.
The WTBTS wants us to think the wrong way about these sayings because it make it easier for the rank and file JW to obey man rather God. We can not have a close personal relationship with Jesus as a JW, we can have a close personal relationship with the Soceity alone. THAT is why they have twisted the words of Jesus to demean His authority and power.

Does it really matter if Jesus is God? What if the trinity idea was not the headache inducing, theological
trainwreck that people have been disecting for decades? I look at the trinity as a way to understand God
while covering all the bases, if that makes any sense. As long as you are born again with Jesus, and have a
personal relationship with him according to John 3:3, then I leave the rest up to God. Once you have that,
then it does not matter about the trintiy because after all, it is not the rules of men that we obey or
disobey that gives us our salvation, right?
