YOU would like to appear to KNOW-
You are for the most part cluless about how the financial system works.
it speaks!.......... for starters yk, ill assume you mean "clueless"..........actually, as much as youd like to make the rest of these posters/readers believe that you have a firm grip on the financial world, and thus can discredit my comments, this is the farthest thing from the truth. if youd like to get into a debate over the u.s. financial system, and how much of it relies on the stock market, perhaps we should start a whole new thread. i wont list my credentials, but suffice it to say finance is my life. im sure you think youre fooling readers into buying into your vast knowledge of finance by using smokescreen words like, "notational derivative obligations" that you no doubt do not even fully understand. in your littel chase-morgan example for instance, lets take the statistics that youve collected (if youve even truly done so) about their amount of derivative obligations, and break it down into specific investments (20 trillion dollars is not in one derivative product), and show how preposterous a statement it would be to say, "It only takes one misplaced bet on one of these massive positions to wipe out the entire system." RIDICULOUS!! are you aware that many derivatives are not even debt related, but actually tied to......drum roll please.......the stock market? yes, some are tied to foreign curency, some are agreements with other banks, other institutions, and some are tied to mutual funds. do you think the market has no effect on the value of the dollar and foreign currency as well? again, RIDICULOUS!! in actuality, for you to say that the stock market is a mere "side-show" to the u.s. financial picture proves unequivocally that it is in fact you who is clueless in these matters. do you not see how transparent you are to all? you fool no one.
thank you for responding to my posts though, in typical yk fashion, not commenting on the obvious fallacies i pointed out in your logic, and once again avoiding all comments on your past performance, or lack there of, in the prediction dept. it must get difficult to bite your tongue, with everyone constantly pointing out your embarrassing record......but then again, what can you really say to defend it?
