to be honest, we utilize mostly mutual funds, annuities, and professional money managers as opposed to individual stocks. individual stock picking is a hobby, and some clients would just rather own indiviuals, but in general, its a tough niche to carve anymore, what with all the on-line trading and discounters out there. technical analysis can still be very helpful though, just in predicting the market as a whole, as ive shown yk in recent days.

I was expecting a brand new "bio-terror/apocalyptic doomsday" thread warning us of new epidemics. Oh well, wishful thinking!

no problem, anytime. as far as YK is concerned, i doubt we will see him for awhile. he was already hinting at taking a hiatus, and then im pretty sure i further silenced him with my recent gloating, for which he could not and will not muster a response. we will no doubt see him in early november at the latest, when he will have to appear and explain why he didnt actually lose the bet, or that he never actually bet, or whatever it is hell say when the dollar is indeed still very valuable.

The thread that won't go away is merely symbolic of the inescapable truth that this system is doomed. The ridiculer and fool who pervervesly believes otherwise will of course inevitably pay the price. Ironically, the demons, who are the real ruling principalities of this system, KNOW that their time is running short. As revealed in the prophecy of Daniel, Revelation, as well as elsewhere in the Scriptures, events in the spirit realm are reflected directly in the political system upon the earth. Without a doubt, the demons are not going to allow themselves to be quietly cuffed and hauled off to prison without putting up a last stand. It is, after all, their world, and much to their chagrin, due to the relative freedom and prosperity of America and the West, the demons have been indirectly supporting the work of Jehovah's Witnesses. If permitted by Jehovah, it stands to reason that the wicked spirits will bring their own system down before they are forced to hand control over to Christ. In fact, the transition period is what is called the great tribulation; the snare that the Scriptures reveal will suddenly come in upon an unsuspecting world as a judgment from Jehovah God himself.

My "Little Wager" is the perfect metaphor for the controversy between apostate ridiculers and Jehovah's Witnesses. The ridiculers of Jehovah's judgments are betting their lives that the system will continue on as normal. Although not certain of how things will ultimately culminate, Jehovah's Witnesses believe that we are at the end of Satan's rule. For a fact, only an incurably stupid person would deny how vulnerable the world has recently been revealed to be. Ask yourself: What will it take to bring the system down? How many nuclear blasts will America be able to take before she is brought to her knees? How well will the financial system hold up in the face of chemical or biological attacks? Such a thing is not unthinkable, but rather---inevitable when once Jehovah's restraining spirit is removed. Obviously, the danger is not some bearded guy holed up in a cave in Afganhistan. The world has entered this most perilous period because it is ruled over by vicious and treacherous demons who want to herd mankind into their totalitarian net before they schuttle their world in an all out attempt to destroy Jehovah's children. / You Know

I agree with You Know totally. I would add that many Jehovah's Witnesses bet their life on the fact that the end is near, just as near as it was when I was 3, 13, 23, 33 and now 43. Maybe this thread will still be going when I am 53, 63 and maybe even 73. Wouldn't it be an interesting metaphor then?
