And just think, the war ain't even begun yet.
Ah would that be that great and fabled 'finacial war' we have heard so much about? Will the bankers be throwing coins at each other? Or perhaps stock certificates?

why do you insist on continuing to make your ignorance more and more apparent? is it a hobby? its baffling, i must say. kind of like watching a dog chase its tail.
Panic buying is correct. The market movers really have no choice but to stage a desperate rally.yes, we know, we know, every time the market rallies its in "desperation". again though, im sure glad those guys got so desperate in '88. ive got some very happy, very rich clients because of it.
It wouldn't surprise me to see them goose the markets back up to nearly where they were.of course the markets will get back to what they were. in fact, they will surpass that by a long shot in time. thats because the market is cyclical, but weve already had that lesson. some people sleep in class.
In the end it will only ensure that when it blows everyone will be completely wiped out.well, not everyone. i made a nice gain on pfizer this week, and now im sitting in the money market. but then again, the dollar is going to be worthless by november anyway, so i should probably go spend it now and have some fun.

Robert,
Did you ever stop to consider that the reason the market fell off as much as it did was because the boys with the $'s were holding out waiting to buy cheap, taking advantage of the situation. Or have you stopped to consider that the reaso the market is going back up is because they are now buying cheap. Some have already done some profit taking. There is no basis for your assertation that the market will collapse. Sorry guy, you're WAY off. I mean that in more than one sense too.

Hi Robert,
The longer this thread gets the less it upsets me. Must be true about what they say about size mattering and all.
September 11th definitely changed history. With that it joins thousands of other dates in human history that have changed history. In fact, history gets changed every day as random natural and manmade occurrences move the world down the ever changing stream of time.
I've been doing a good bit of reading about derivitives, so thanks for prodding me into learning something new about the financial world.
My company sells services to Chase Manhattan and that's where my mortgage was until 2 days ago when I paid it off (I was one of those poor suckers who invested in the stock market back in 1993 during the panic buying of the mid and late 90's and made enough to pay my house off). They are a pretty arrogant group of bankers, that I will give you, so they may indeed be in some hot soup. Their stock price will certainly reflect it if they are.

Oh, I looked up the scripture on the tower of Siloam last night too. It was pretty interesting. Have to admit, you were right, Jesus did use it as an example of destruction. He still offered hope to the people he was talking to though, he offered them a way out if they repented. I don't ever see you talking about any way out, just about people being doomed. Is there a way out?
Oh, you never answered my questions about your Kingdom Hall attendance. Are you a regular meeting attender and publisher? The annointed I knew when I was a kid were all in the full time service, either circuit work or special pioneers? Are you a special pioneer?
hugs again

Joel,
You make a good point:

Are you here to help us come back the WTBS fold?
Or do you veiw us as a hopeless bunch of apostates?
If someone lived a trillion X longer than you, and had a billion X more reasoning ability would he come to the same conclusions as you?[/QUOTE]
Just doing my part to help push this thread over the 300 post mark!

What happens to all of YK's predictions if and when the Taliban and other Afghan officials decide to hand Osama bin Laden over to spare the conflict? It could be possible. Then what?
The same thing he always does when he's wrong. Pretend he never said it or he twists his words to make it seem like he was right. You know is like that guy on the corner of the street with a placcard that says "The End is Coming!" Just throw him a coin every once in awhile and laugh along. :)

The financial system was coming down long before the terrorist attack on September 11th. My prediction was based on that fact. Bin Laden is just a patsy any way; a tool of people who want to start a war in the Middle East; at worst he is a distraction. / You Know
