Firstly, do not burn down the Kingdom Halls!

I'm sure you can tell the difference between an attention grabbing topic title and a genuine call to arson. I am not advocating illegal behaviour and neither would anyone associated with this site.

My question is; just how far would you go? Do you want to hurt the Watchtower? If so does that include it's members? Would you get militant or do you favour passive protest? Has Danny Haszard got it right?

What about political lobbying? Media campaigning? Placard waving?

How angry do you need to get to make a difference?

How about phoning the elders asking them point blank about all the sensitive issues, recording the conversations and posting them on the internet?

What the hell good would that do? Who would that convince? Who would that educate?

What the hell is wrong with you?

All you have to do to bring the watchtower down is make information available. It is built on a factual and ideological house of fallacies. Making the information known that proves the intellectual bankruptcy of the org is all you have to do. You don't even need to provide commentary!

Quotes had it perfect! Now advertise advertise advertise the website that brings you the truth about the jw kingdom!!!

Uh well burning down the kingdom halls is a crime.

And wouldn't that just make exwitnesses look worse?

And yeah, I think just making sure information is readily available to anyone and everyone who wants it is the best bet.

Good advice, CYP. I understand that you were never a JW, not raised one, but that your wife is a recent convert? Seeing this from your viewpoint is helpful, not the ex-JW viewpoint.

I am assuming that those advocating burning KHs are kidding or just expressing their frustration. I assume you don't mean burning them with the people, including children in them. I was just reading a book about 4 young men who felt they had a just cause and blew up a building, thinking no one would be in it. A man was working late, and died.

Hang them with their own words (figuratively, of course)

I'm hoping that was tongue in cheek or an attempt at being sarcastic.

I agree with Gary Cooper (great avatar, premises) just make the information available. Those who start to question enough to do some research will find it. That's why the real battle right now is on the Internet. We have to keep the info on the Internet and not allow the WTS to shut it down.

I would not support any illegal act against them. They're not worth the sacrifice of a single moment of my freedom.

There's plenty of information available about them now, enough to enable people to make their own informed decisions. The extent of my involvement would be to help get information to those who need it. Beyond that, who am I to tell someone they don't have the right to fuck up their own lives?
