I think you should change the title to this thread. Yes it gets attention, but it's also listed in the Friends section of the forum. It can be seen by anyone who happens upon JWD. They might not open the thread to see that you aren't serious. It makes "apostates" look crazed. Really, your question is legitimate, but is this a wise way to make a point? Please think of changing the title to some more legal attention getting title.

I strongly believe that, hypothetically, violence is morally justified as applied against some Jehovah's Witnesses.

For example, elders who 'hunt down' any faded Witness, with an intent to disfellowship them.

Also, any elder who monitors another Witness needing a blood transfusion.

These things are unreasonable - and an attempt to do harm to others. Frankly, if more committee meetings ended in a physical

brawl, you would see things change for the better.

I have to admit, there are a few JWs, mostly elders, I would thoroughly enjoy beating into pulps, but they're not worth the potential jail time. I'll have to be content with keeping such activities in my fantasies.

It's been my experience that the elders that I would love to beat into pulps are nothing but big bullys. They love to intimidate and frighten people weaker than them. Being an elder enables them to lord it over those under them, namely the rest of the congregation. While trying to be a good little dub, we may have allowed these bullies to push us around. That only encourages them to do it more.

As with most bullies, a real fight is usually not necessary. If you stand up to them and don't act scared, they'll back down. With an adult bully, a good tongue lashing will result in more damage to their ego than physical blows.

Now that we're out and we don't acknowledge their self appointed authority, it is easy to put such bullies in their place. They're not used to someone standing up to them and they really don't know what to do when someone verbally smashes their brains in.

The key is to remain calm, cool and collected. Let them play the fool and by using our powers of logic and reason, along with our new found right to speak our mind, we can crush them with words and never have to lift a finger.

That was my experience too. I gave a few of them good tongue lashings, and always made it a point to do it in front of others. They really don't know how to handle it. Remaining calm is important, as it often results in their losing their cool and making complete asses of themselves. Of course, it resulted in them writing a nasty letter about me to my new congregation when I moved. Imagine my disappointment when my new congregation wouldn't let me run a mic!
