Jeff - I haven't read a US newspaper for a long while but over here we have an announcements section, where births deaths, marraiges, engagements, anniversaries, thank yous etc.are put. Just an idea. It would possibly catch the eye of Dubs and give adverse publicity to the Congo at the same time.

You know it, brother.
This year I may send one that says, "Wise men still seek Him" to all my friends who attend the local Kingdom Hall.
And if they DF you, just show them your thumb through your fingers and say: "Oh yeah! Well I got your nose!"
I just listened to the Townsend JC tape........3 elders hearing but not listening.........never getting the sense of it.
Jeff, your letter to the rank and file could be helpful but it will be pearls before swine with the elders.
11 He replied, "You've been given insight into God's kingdom. You know how it works. Not everybody has this gift, this insight; it hasn't been given to them. 12 Whenever someone has a ready heart for this, the insights and understandings flow freely. But if there is no readiness, any trace of receptivity soon disappears. 13 That's why I tell stories: to create readiness, to nudge the people toward receptive insight. In their present state they can stare till doomsday and not see it, listen till they're blue in the face and not get it. 14 I don't want Isaiah's forecast repeated all over again:
Your ears are open but you don't hear a thing.
Your eyes are awake but you don't see a thing.
15 The people are blockheads!
They stick their fingers in their ears
so they won't have to listen;
They screw their eyes shut
so they won't have to look,
so they won't have to deal with me face-to-face
and let me heal them.
you might ask them since the wts. signed on as an ngo. (like many other religions have) what makes the wts. any different than the rest of babylon the great? at least the others did it in the light of day. didnt hide the fact for 10 freakin years.

Yep. I full agreement there, Blondie. My desire is to make other r&f think, also to let them know that some leave with pure motive and not due to some sort of rebellion against God. I know many have sent personal letters to the r&f without any results in the past due to the deeply controlled mindset of witnesses - but worth a try I think.

This is good stuff.. Keep em coming
"If baptising infants is wrong, why is baptising teenagers right?"
"Why should we accept anything the Watchtower says when they've been guilty of false prophecy for more than 120 years?"

finally-frees question number 5 may need rewording, such as:
If a JW can now have blood fractions, why are they not allowed to donate blood?
I think it is really important to stress several times that you do not have an issue with the bible but just with the WTS. Otherwise they will feel totally justified to view you as an apostate and disregard everything you say whether it is relevant or not. I certainly found that out over time.
Of course they will bring up the question "where else would you go if the WTS is not Gods organisation" You do not need to answer that question. Tell them that for as long as they believe the lies of the WTS it is pointless discussing the alternatives. Once a person can see clearly through the Watchtower fallicies that question no longer becomes either an issue or relevant.
