That would be hilarious. Then see how many people show up on Saturday at 7:30 pm at the Kingdom Hall, and get a video recording of it.

I think KW's idea is great!
But honestly, why go thru it. It has caused you enough angst as it is. Why give them the power over you to even show up, waste an evening. It is not like they want to ask you if someone stumbled you and you need help returning. You know that all it will do is rial you up and cause you to get frustrated. I would ignore it and go about your life. They have already made up their minds. You are no going to change their minds and they are not going to change yours. Pearls before swine, pearls before swine, people. They are idiots, do you really want to spend an hour out of your day with idiots. If so, they have fun. But again, I like KW's idea better. Now that would be a head game to play on them.

you'd have to say there are elders ready to meet you at the kingdom hall @ X time, add bits so they don't ring an elder and check...maybe

If it is out in the open that you attend another church I would explain that you have new pastors \ elders there and you have no need to see JW elders and that you have not been to a meeting since 1993. That should make it plain that you have no business with them.

If it's fun you are after, how about taping a note to their door, "Personal and Confidential", commenting that you had been gone so long you'd forgotten they existed. Ask for a couple elders to drop by for a free home bible study.

My vote don't go. You're in a no win situation so no use playing by their rules. I would also claim that someone other then you opened the letter and ask them if they do not believe in the privacy act.
