When I first found this board, Waiting, Frenchy, SixofNine, Seven, all welcomed me and made me feel at home. I really enjoyed it. I still do. I agree with Simon that we shouldn't have censors. I also agree with those who say if you don't like it don't read it. I Never read anything Fred Hall posts. When I am reading and they start cursing one another I switch to another post. The titles and the authors are pretty good indicators. I have a great deal of respect for a number of posters here and some have never said anything that would offend anyone as far as profanity goes. I think if you are selective you can dodge offensive posts. If you must go then I wish you well, but I do hate to see you go.

You already know that I regard you as a friend and you also know that I too have had to live down an awful scenario on this board that was never of my making.

I too almost left, but I didn't. I saw that that would have made that major person and the other two players winners when in fact they are nothing but losers in sheeps clothing........you know all of this........you allowed me to vent out with you.....

Please rethink this.......really carefully.......you have read all these posts from people that care about you.
If you still decide to leave, I will respect your wishes but will miss you around here greatly.
You are one of the loveliest people I have had the pleasure to meet here and I am so happy to call you my friend.

"Crud?" That's a Mormon word. I was raised in Mormon country and NO one I've ever known has ever used "crud", except someone influenced by Mormon culture. What say ye, Derrick?

Yeah (about "scholarly stuff")? So show us some of it. When AlanF and JanH bolted H20 (to name only two) you lost all of that. Furthermore, Rick is now praising his own ass and patting his own ass that that such people are now gone! Your your board is tits-up, Derrick, and you ain't gonna get what you ask for. Rick is why. Sorry to see you leave Prisca. You are one of the few women on this forum that has your act together. I started posting on this forum when it first started. Things have changed for the worse. I am sure the WT is proud of what goes on here. This forum and some of the regular posters I am sure give the WT fuel to keep the info spilling over the pages of the WT and AFAKE about how evil and filthy the so called apostates can be.

If you leave you do noting more then to show that vulgar language used to hurt and condemn is indeed a useful tool and it has authority to effect you. You succumb to its pseudonymous power and you show that when used as it has, it has effectiveness in it's intended purpose. Do you really want that? Do you think that by leaving this will all go away? Someone called you an asshole, so what. Did a cuss word typed in hypertext thousands of miles away from you effect you so much that you simply give up? Are you the whiner some have accused you of being? I don't think so, prove them wrong, stay and speak your piece like you have never spoken it before. Fight for your thoughts and beliefs, fight for those on this board who love you, fight for yourself. If you don't do it now, you might never learn to. This board is easy, it's noting in the big picture of your life, start here and learn how to use that strength in your convictions that are really important. Going away proves noting. If you like, stay but limit your posts only to the threads you are comfortable with. An old Zen master once said a thousand words are send in silence. He didn't say they were said in absence. You still believe in god, good for you sweetheart, I think it helps make the person you are, but it isn't the core of what makes up all of you. I don't know if I believe there is a god, I hope we can still be friends. I am a very spiritual person, I just don't know if I believe in god, If there is one, I think he will understand.
