Personally I think it is probably coincidental , yet when it occurs it makes me wonder .

I think the bible does say that people could practice various black arts that would give them clues as to a future event and such , like the story of king Saul . Hearing a voice that tells you to put a seatbelt on isn't really confirmation of a premonition tho . You may or may not have been in an accident after you put the belt on . It's not like you were warned you were going to be in an accident .

...premonitions, deja vu's..all very normal stuff for me. I have them all the time. Sometimes I know exactly what the next word will be spoken, the next step somebody will take, sometimes it is as if I have the chance to relive the moment differently because I've already experienced it going a way it doesn't have to.

Easter Sunday I had a big one. It is all too complicated and personal to get into. The dubs tried to tell me it was demunz...nope it's just me. I call it; sensitive intuit...I feel and sense things that science has yet to name. Perhaps by the time they find the everything theory that explains all the working of the universe, then it will have a scientific name for sensitive intuits.

I have them from time to time. They can come in fast and loud or alternatively they don't happen for a long time. I had a dark cloud over my head all day once and I have a strong feeling that a love one was going to get hurt in a car ax. My mom called that night to say she had been in a bad side impact car ax. She was fine, but she was hospitalized and had to go thru rehab.

My belief is that we all have the ability to pick up on things that are out in the world, but because we filter most external matters, we don't pick up on clues and information that is out there. Do I believe in fate. NO. But I do believe that if we were more open minded we would see so much more around us.

    Kate,

I have always experienced things like this and do not believe it has anything to do with demons. I think there is a rational explaination for when we get those feelings that something is not right or danger is approaching. I think it has to do with instinct. Animals have it so why wouldn't we?

I was once about to leave a friends home and tried to get up off her sofa when I was overcome by a very strong urge to sit back down. I dropped down so suddenly my friend asked me what was wrong. I said, I dont know but think I will stay for a while longer. Maybe two minutes later, just enough time I would of had to get to the front door, we heard a tremendous crash! A truck lost control and went up on the sidewalk and crashed right thru the front door. The one I would have been walking out of at that moment. That was about 17 years ago.

Heres another thing that was more like a preminition:

My mother had died of cancer in 2001 and a few months later she came to me in a dream and told me that she was coming back for my father. It seemed so real, I told my siblings and husband about it the next day. Within a few weeks we found out my dad had cancer too and he died within a few months.

My mom had it too whatever it was. She knew the exact moment her mother died. I was about 12 and remember my mom going hysterical out of the blue as we were standing in the living room, saying she had to call her family because her mom just died. And she had.

I think the above experiences happen when we are closely tied to someone. So you are not the only one who experiences these things. Also, it must run in family because my daughter who is 13 gets these feelings too.

I've had several things like this happen to me. The ones that impacted my life the most were when I was just a little girl. When I was maybe 11, I had a paper route I was doing in an apartment complex a few blocks from my house. There were 2 men on foot that walked past me and I suddenly had an eerie feeling and got very scared so I went around the corner and hid inside the bushes. They ran past really fast right after and circled a couple of times. The last time they went past I can still remember hearing the one man ask the other, "where'd she go?" I stayed there for at least an hour until I was sure they were gone.
The other time was when I was in sixth grade. My teacher would always buy me presents and give me free ice cream coupons. He was very nice and I wasn't afraid of him at all. But I got really ill and missed like a week from school. I was supposed to go over to his house and get tutored by him and his wife to get caught up with the class the day I was to return. He had called my house and arranged everything with my parents (who thought he was just a really nice old guy). But I had a really bad feeling, kind of like a really sick feeling something bad was going to happen and I refused to return to school(I told my mom I wouldn't go). The next week as I was still home not going to school, him and his wife were arrested for molesting children.
To this day whenever I feel something isn't right I always trust that instinct.
