OK... I think this has nothing to do with higher gas prices... I really think it's a genuine cry for help! Save her!

Besides, I always thought JW's walked - least they were always on foot when they knocked on my door. I'll have to ask my wife about this.

You know Eslewhere I think your sister has something else on her mind other than gas prices. I mean why on earth would she want you to protest the prices of oil?

She also knows that being a devout JW, to boycott anything as the The WatchTower says it a no no. Maybe she does'nt care anymore about the organization anymore or is having doubts about recent issues.

    I concur with Rebel8

Sorry bro, I know it hurts. It can be so absurd, and it's so frustrating. Like dealing with children.

Snap my sisters haven't spoken to me since 1998 either - they were just teenagers then too. They are pretty devout and I think they shun computers (where the evil apostate internet comes out of) and email too so I'm unlikely to get any emails high petrol prices or not!

    Loved your reply elsewhere!

Nearly every JW 'friend' that I used to contact by email has 'blocked' my address. That is how total the Watchtower induced state of paranoia runs for these folks.

They will sort thru emails from a hundred porn sites and delete them [one assumes], but an email from a lifelong friend is a serious threat to their 'spiritual health'.

I hope your sis was just putting out 'feelers' to you. But I doubt it really. But when her doubts arise expect that serious contact to start.
