Hey Richie, it sounds like you are really getting a kick out of being infamous. Have fun with it.

The JW go into a kind of mourning over those who leave, especially if they were consided faithful. You are really making them think, why why why is this happening? And not all of them will be convinced it is Satan. LOL

absolutely NO doubt about the dubs knowing..........I remember when a brother in our circuit, who happened to be a CO when the regular one couldn't make it, was DF'd for adultery with a sister who I knew very well. The rumors and gossip flew! I never gave it much thought, but, there were alot of people who knew my ex and I, we traveled for talks and the ex gave many CA and DA parts. I'm sure they had great fun ripping me to shreds and deifying him. LOL!

Cool, Richie! You're a celebrity. What an excellent anti-witness.

At least Mom is getting some nice parting gifts.

I'm confused as to why people are giving gifts to your mom--seems like a strange thing to do. Or is it as if you have died?

That is exactly what it is. When I was DF'd at 19 my mother had different individuals giving her sympathy cards!!!!! (no joke)

    Nice experience Richie.

It reminds me of the time I ran into an older elder and his wife, who had studied with my in laws. Everyone always shuns me, even though I'm not df'd. He gave me a big hug and told me how happy he was to see me. His wife looked uncomfortable, but was pleasant to me. I told everyone I knew about that, especially JW relatives and a couple of JW people who still talk to me. The word spread and people were a bit more friendly to us.

Then I find out that elder has Alzheimer's disease. I guess it wasn't such a coup after all. But it served a purpose for awhile.
