I know that I wouldn't do that. It's just not right, but it's not in the rules to use someone else's avatar...

You could tweak it a little, JH. Stick a crown on your own rat face there. lol
No, I've never been tempted to straight up steal someone else's avatar. Might borrow an idea or two, though.
I did have a picci of the PO's son in the congregation I used to attend; I did think about using that as my avatar...never did like him and it might set the cat among the pigeons.
Imagine the headlines in JWdom....'PO's son turns apostate'.
LOL

Go ahead and do it, DB. Might confuse people here some, however.
You mean like a newbie who looks an awfully lot like Scully?
Yeah it would be confusing. I guess that some people look at the avatar rather than the user name.
I'll keep my rat face the way it is. And probably, no one would want to have my rat avatar either....
It is pretty scary, JH, but we love ya anyway.
It is pretty scary
Yeah, it's a face only a mother can love
I think somebody did that with my old avatar but I could be wrong. For a long while I used a certain JPG of a very hostile little bug from the Simpsons. I had to go through heck and a half to find the pic, to crop it and shrink it to fit. Somebody is using that JPG now, I can't even remember who LOL. Could be total coincidence. Thing is, if an avatar is supposed to uniquely represent you, why would you want to use somebody elses? Especially someone who's a moderator?
They should be politely asked to change it if it's the same as a current mod's, I'd say. JMO
