If it was 2 ordinary witnesses, who didn't know that I lived here, I'd talk to them for 2 minutes, because I'm only inactive, not disfellowshipped. I would ask them how things are going in the congregation, if there are many newcomers....lol...they wish...lol
If it was an elder or 2 elders I'd let them know that I'm not ready to come back yet. I wouldn't say anthing that they wouldn't want to hear. I love being inactive and in control of the situation.
I wouldn't bother to waste my time with informing them what a crock of bull their beliefs are but I would answer the door and tell them to go pedal their cult crap some where else, it's not welcomed here.

Funny because two showed up today.
The ex-CO was on an expansion binge so he ordered the start of a new congo in my area. We had been going to a Hall about 25 minutes from the house, and with the stroke of a pen as a loving gesture to help us and make it easier to attend meetings, he started a new one in the KH about 5 minutes from my house.
Trouble is that we could only use the close Hall for book studies and would have to travel over an HOUR to get to the other four meetings.
Apart from being really stupid, It's really annoying when other Dubz wonder why I might be offended by that.
The last time they came to my door, I was watching the HBO miniseries "Deadwood" on DVD. In full surround sound was blaring the language of obsenity when a knock came at the door.....That poor young sister didn't know what to think.
If there are any children accompanying the adults, I give them pitying looks and then tell the JWs I'm not interested.
