I dislike researching exspecially on something I am involved with right now. --Does that statement even makes sense to you?! At any rate it sounds incredibly immature. Ignorance is not bliss when hurts people. Just because you are choosing to remain ignorant doesn't make anything you say or parrot back as truth. You simply regurgitate what the wt's have to say, no need to think. You will miss out on so much in life, even self discovery because there will be no 'self'. Just something molded by the wt without any critical thinking skills. How boring.

As for your brother the Marine, I know a few Marines and I would be willing to put money on it that he would not approve of you becoming involved in a cult.

I'm probably going to come across as a jerk, but what you said isn't cool. That's a betrayal of your brother. You're agreeing that your own flesh and blood is under the influence of the Devil - agreeing with some slimy snake-oil-peddling cult recruiter. You should stand up for your family.

You may be new to message boards? I don't know. But this type of attention seeking just makes me want to ask the question... Are you even a girl? Do you even have a brother? I mean, if you can't even take his life seriously, why should I even assume he exists?

IFTNP - it took me a while to get a hold on what has happened in this thread!

Girl, I think you need something to boost your self esteem and social skills. I think you are in need of some TLC and maybe some direction in life.

I dont think you should look for these things among the JW's, because they have no idea how to care for people with real problems or needs. If you have tender feelings for your brother in Iraq dont expect comort from the JW's. They will do nothing but condemn him for his 'war like' tendencies. They will offer you no comfort if anything bad happens to him, they will only make stupid hurtful comments like 'lets hope hes worthy of a resurrection' or even 'he wont get a resurrection because he rejected Jeohvah when he was alive' or some other judgemental crap that will hurt you like hell.

I think you should direct your young energies into some philosophy that will help you get good solid life skills that will make you happy. And get rid of that JW instructor ASAP.
