    17 so far.

I could easily live in Hawaii. Also DFW area of Texas.

California (northern & southern), Nevada, Arizona, Utah, Colorado & Texas.

Of these, my favorite is southern California. From the desert or mountains to the beach in an hour? Are you kidding me?

I forgot to mention New Hampshire. I visited Manchester in Novemember of 2000, and I would call that place a close second.

I have no idea, I was dragged around all over the place on road trips with the family.

Since people are commenting on the places they loved the most .... nothing in the US will ever compare to Australia. It is the most beautiful place I have ever been.

I have been to 35 states and couldn't say which is my favorite. They all have something desirable and beautiful about them.

This is for Blondie - sorry I didn't make that clear in the first place. I guess I was in travel shock.

Were you and your husband in the District work? And/or missionary work?

How were you able to have the time to go to all of these places?

I think I've been to 32 states in the US, 2 Canadian provinces and a few European countries.

I really like the West Coast states, Maine and Massachusetts.

I've visited or drove for at least an hour through 21 states.

I've spent less than an hour driving through 2 more states.

I've only been at the airport doing a connecting flight in 2 more states, so I didn't really see much of those two states, especially since both connections were at night.

And I've also lived in DC. Not technically a state, but still part of the country. :)

And my favorite place so far was NYC.

juni, I grew up traveling and still travel for a hobby. I'm from a traveling family. Some day I'll pick up those 3 states, the rest of the Canadian provinces. My dream is to visit Australia and New Zealand........the 51st and 52nd US states.
