Back in my old congregation, we had a similar display set up in a common area at the local community college.

We weren't allowed to initiate conversations, but we could reply & converse if anyone came up to us & starting talking.

In my time there, not one person ever said anything to us.

It was the easiest 4 hours of field service you could ever get!

I noticed the guys' trousers were bordering on baggy style, are they following a fad? They look so cultish, at Wal-Mart in dark suits, for heaven's sake. No one will want toapproach them. If they dressed like the common man, as Jesus did, they'd get so much more interest. And the sister, in the two piece, cream color suit- I'm sure that doesn't fit in at Wal-Mart and gets her lots of stares. It just looks bizarre!

    Hello,

My appraisal of WalMart just hit rock bottom with the news that certain stores are allowing Jehovah's Witnesses to set up displays on company grounds.

This organization has destroyed the lives of thousands of people. They do not believe in the fundemental rights of the democratic United States government and preach for it's ultimate destruction...AND they are currently involved in one of the largest child molestation scandals in the country.

My dollars and my friends dollars will be spent elsewhere until I am sure they are no longer on WalMart property.
    Thank you.

But honestly, that is a good price for the hanging baskets!

Christ, I'm hardly surprized that WalMart would allow some fringe fundy cult to preach on their property.
WalMarts's politics/religion is crap. They do not allow such filthy trash as FHM, Maxam, (guy's magazine, lots of sex advice, racy pics) to touch their shelves yet you can buy a gun and walk out the same day.
Go figure. They probably won't toss the JWs. They'll just spew some crap about how they promote "family values" and they'll be in like flynn.
    (note: I am not anti-gun)

Have you ever been to their Bethel-like HQ in Bentonville, Ark.? If you have the chance to visit, don't miss their pep rally which occurs about once a week to juice up the troops. Yaaa for Sam, Yaaa for third world imports, Yaaa for illegal immigrant janitors...

This is a marriage made in heaven - they can save money on the "greeters" at the door; JW's will do it for them and count time...
