    RE: Lost last night...

    WOW!!! ...and the plot thickens!

Now, I understand the reason for 325-degrees on the compass - on the web site. (or was it 315-degrees?)

    Regards,

I was really disappointed with the episode. Maybe I misunderstood the trailer after "3 Minutes" two weeks ago, which seemed to indicate that questions would be answered.

OK, some questions were. The blast door map was not Desmond's, the island is haven for some sort of electro-magnetic anomoly (which would explain why they can't leave the island & possibly Locke's & the black lady's "healings"), it even explains the drug smuggling plane & The Black Rock.

What was not explained were the black smoke entities, the polar bear & that green bird (the one Hurley thought had called his name).

I feel so left out! I've never watched this show. Studied way to hard this year and didn't have time for TV. Is it really that good?

Would it be worth while to rent previous seasons on DVD to catch up?

It looks like fake Henry is the leader and not the fake bearded guy.

What about the HUGE four-toed foot? Something like that takes a very long time to build using a large number of people and resources. That would be the FIRST thing I would mount an expedition to investigate. There would most certainly be plenty of archaeological evidence there with lots of information about those who built it.

What happened to Sayid after he started the signal fire with the black smoke?

What about the fake hatch at the "others" camp site?

Why does Penelope have two guys in the arctic (or antarctic) monitoring electromagnetic fields?

Are John, Eko and Desmond dead or alive?

Why did Charlie come back from the hatch with a grin and a smirk not knowing what happened to John, Eko and Desmond? It seems to me a normal person would have searched for survivors after such an event.

Did the Swan Hatch explode or did that hatch door land on the beach because of magnetic forces? If it was because of a magnetic forces then John, Eko and Desmond are most likely still alive.

Will Michael and Walt come back to help the survivors? Will he go home and try to bring help? If he goes home what will he tell everyone?

Most certainly YES! That would be perfect for a long weekend.

Desmond's partner in the hatch (I forget his name) was the guy who taught Sayid his interrogation techniques.

I think Penny knows something about why Desmond is where he is; her father was listed as an Industrialist/Philanthropist, possible connections with the Dharma Initiative? "I will wait for you forever" she told Desmond. Desmond turned down the money offered to him by her father to "run away". Instead, he chose to enter, and attempt to win, the race, to regain his honor.

Michael, "Who are you people?". Henry, "We're the good guys."

I think there must be more to why flight 815 crashed than just Desmond allowing the system failure. How do the Others know everyone's real names (Sawyer/James). Plus, all the interconnections...

The journals from the ? hatch all ended up in a big pile on the island rather than being read by anyone. So even their observations of the subjects in the other hatches were not all that important to the experiment. Also, there was a videocamera in place to view the people in the ? hatch. Who was watching them?

So, the "quarantine" and the sickness (the need to take the injections) was a complete hoax? Then what did Rousseau mean that her scientific team all got sick and she had to kill them all?

    Further down the rabbit hole...

Remember when she caught up to Desmond at the stadium? She told him, when asked how she found Desmond, that there is nothing that money & determination can't find.

Why did Charlie ;come back from the hatch with a grin and a smirk not knowing what happened to John, Eko and Desmond? It seems to me a normal person would have searched for survivors after such an event.

He responded to Claire's question, with the question, "They haven't shown up yet?" That seems to indicate to me that the hatch did not explode.

I have been trying to get into Fuselage.com to see what's being written there, but it seems to have crashed. I haven't tried the other Lost DBs yet.
