I would sorely miss the Internet. Business wise (both personal and work related) it has made life very time efficient.
Are you internet dependent?

I'm very dependent. A few weeks ago somebody stole the fiber optic phone lines so we had no DSL nor phone. I use VOIP for international calls and I had to drive 20 minutes into town to check email and the like. On the plus side I met a hottie that works at the ciber cafe. The Lord works in strange ways.....

G Money how did the optic fibres get stolen, that is a strange thing to steal. You met hotties at the cyber, my impression is that in general Mexican women are full of passion and spicy like the great Mexican food.

They stole the dang phone lines and we had no service for over a week. Heck, in most 3rd world countries if it isn't nailed down or locked up it will disappear! They must have been at it at night for a few hours. The road to the house is dark with no lights.
There are lots of hot Mexican girls in central Mexico. I feel like a starvin fat kid in a candy store all the time! -

Yes, and I adore it. You can live in a hut in the remotest part of the world, but as long as you have a good internet connection, you can get anything you need.

Less than a year ago I had never used the internet. Now I use it every day. I don't use it at work, just here. Even when we go out, I still log in before I go, and am straight back on the net when I get home.
I am an addict, I suppose.

Parakeet a lot of employed people now work at home, there is no need to be in an office provided at the employer's premises. And with satellite internet there can be a fast connection even in remote areas.
G money surely Mexican girls are hot like all Latinas. Are you saying they are inaccessible? -

I don't use it at work, I do work on a computer though. I use it about 2-3 days a week and sometimes never. I get very little e-mail, very very little, which is how I like it. I have been thru times were I got tons and had all sorts of online friends, and was involved in all sorts of dramas and games. I cut off communication went off the internet for a year, when I came back, I came back with a more limited usage and did not go to the places I went before and started a new way of doing the internet. I come only to this board now, and only in the evening on a few days. When people PM me, with the online messages, I respond to some and to others I don't. I just like a more anonymous and less active internet lifestyle and it makes me all the more, not internet dependent. Although, when it comes to shopping and researching, I am right here for that source.
