No, thank you anyway. The insurance company has already given them plenty of money to buy what they need. They are at the store now doing just that.

Oh Mulan, I'm so glad they got out ok....as you said, everything else can be replaced. Fire is a very terrifying, and devastating thing. I do hope the photographs are ok though.....my mom lost all her photos, and sadly they can't be replaced.

Hi Mulan!
Sorry to hear about the fire. But everyone is safe and that's what's important. Smart son and wife to have good coverage w/their insurance. A person never thinks it could happen to them, but when it does having that insurance sure helps make a bad situation bearable. And the Red Cross org. has such wonderful, caring volunteers. They'll offer a lot of help too.

It's possible that the data on the computer is salveagable even if the computer itself isn't. Definitely have someone who knows what they're about pull the hard drive and hook it up and see if they can get anything off, especially if there were a lot of digital pictures on there.
