Ok the first time I thought it was pretty cool how they applied every little scripture to themselves. I sat rapt with my young children while we discussed wonderful things to come.

The second time I was like...where's my old book with all the notes in the margins, Im NOT looking all this sh-t up again!

The THIRD time, I was SO OVER IT ALL already, I even had the book study IN MY HOUSE and had a newborn and so I "attended" the meetings via BABY MONITOR in my bedrrom so they wouldnt hear me saying "THis is the biggest bunch of CRAP I have ever layed eyes on...."

Is it me or is applying Revelation to the Watch Tower and the Annointed like fitting a condom over a bowling ball???

And now they are DOING IT AGAIN????

    Very apt, I like that.

Yeah, the Revelation book is boiled shit. I won't be attending even if my wife begs me.

Did doing the Revelations book make you more paranoid about 'the end' than usual though?

Did doing the Revelations book make you more paranoid about 'the end' than usual though?" Nah...Its weird but I was never one of those "Ones" who could picture themselves in paradise. Just couldnt do it. They changed when the END was coming so many times even in the 13 years I was in there, that it was pretty evident they didnt have a clue and couldnt find their own buts with two hands. One thing I came out of the JWs with is NO fear of God. Their God is an evil, vengeful, selfish, unloving entity.

I couldn't believe my eyes when it was released. It was so bad. My friend and I agreed that it was "wacky" and very cultish (in its eisegetical "interpretation" of almost everything to the JWs).

I asked my JW buddy Johnny:

"Okay, you are standing there telling me that the Soverign true god of the entire universe preserved in writing the words of his prophets from thousands of years ago a description of the antics of a bunch of old guys in Brooklyn New York??"

I guess all this Revelation prophecy thing kind of slipped the Watchtower press spokesman's mind when he was talking to LDH -

"Jehovahs Witnesses are not God's sole organization on earth" "Jehovahs Witnesses do not claim to be inspired by God"

OK, so what other organization is in a favorable fulfillment of a revelation prophecy? And, how did the witnesses find out they were the final result of all these prophesies (if they weren't inspired)?

Then I have to ask, would it be fair to say that reading the wt's Revelation book may open eyes rather than push someone to become even more die hard?

ok, yeah, grasping at staws here.
