Too bad the audio didn't catch the last part where they had the audience file up on stage and receive a paper cup of refreshing Kool-Aid. ("The attendants will provide assistance to those with small children, those at the back of the line, please be patient, there is enough for all")

Ohhhh they are so scared - a resolution saying that they will avoid association with outsiders via internet chat rooms!!!!
What a totally rubbish resolution and waste of time - why do they all have to yell AYE - what the f@@@ is wrong with Yes!!! It gave me shudders listening to that - so reminiscent of the Nazi Rallies where they would all shout Heil to Hitler.

I wrote them down as I was listening.... Here it goes:
1. intensify witnessing
2. give Jehovah exclusive devotion
3. no part of the world
4. not to comprimise righteous principles
5. not become involved in interfaith movements or social programs designed to improve the world God sees fit to condemn..
6. be in subjection to political authorities and not take sides in any political issues..
7. reject materialism, unclean entertainment, over drinking and eating, and internet chat rooms which would put us in association with the world.
Goal = To remain set apart from the world
Wow, what a crock.. esp. #5 and #6... and chatrooms.... even gardening? or dieting? Really can't stand those 12 farts at Bethel anymore..

Wow, it'll be nice to see all those lard-assed elders we used to have on the program all slimming down now as they avoid over-eating and drinking! What a provision from Jehovah, and the end to obesity among Jehovah's Witnesses!I remember some years ago there was a similar resolution at the DC. When we got home I would talk to the friends about it, just seeing what they remembered. No one, and I mean NO ONE, had the vaguest recollection about what they had said yes to. With porn, alcohol and the Net mentioned in this one, they might do a little better!

Something is very wrong for The Watchtower to introduce this kind of resolution.
Could it all stem from the influence that the internet is having on the majority of the JWs?
Is the Watchtower starting to show the signs of its eventual disintegration?

If they did, the Watchtower couldn't say that it was accepted unaminously.
