I understand your perspective LT especially where you mention the wt burning being hurtful to one. On the flip side I think Annie needs to understand that her comments may have been equally hurtful to some here. While I am not saying we should respond in kind to people who post things that are hurtful I don't think she is entirely blameless in all this and probably could have told her story with more tact.

I can imagine the panic you must have gone through when you realized you forgot your purse! I'm glad you were able to get back to the parking lot in time and got it back.

It's a tough debate as to whether God answers prayers or not. If he answers some, why not others? I don't know.... If you want to pray to him, feel free to. If it gives you comfort, go ahead! That is what this board SHOULD be about; Having the freedom to do/think what you want and have people respect you.

I hope we hear more from you. We really are a decent group. Sorry if you were scared away by some comments!

If Annie feels better about her life believing God looks after her, good for her.Many beliefs make the world go around.Maybe she was posting to get reactions from us, and laughing at our posts. Maybe she is really searching for her own truth, deciding if the way of the Dubs is right for her. I think she does need to put it in perspective that God must have bigger concerns on his plate than her purse, but in any case...Glad you got your purse back , everything in tact
