Well, Teejay, I'm going to guess that the success of this had a lot to do with the commonality of their goals.
That does seem to be a more likely possibility, wouldn't you say, in light of what's known about the sophisticated, long-term planning of the attack. Every one else seems to be saying the same thing, that the events suggest a high level of coordination among a huge network of people over a long period of time. Well done, Six! Now you're getting it.
... this was, of course, a conspiracy. Just not a mysterious one
By "mysterious" I suspect you mean that all of the components of the plan are clearly laid out in open view, with little of it beneath the surface, unknown to the public at large. If so, you are way wrong, imo, and a bit more naïve than you really oughta be. Things are very, very seldom as they appear.
One thing I know for a fact: the American people have been hoodwinked before. In major scams. By it's own government.I'm sure there is something to that statement, but off hand, I can't place anything. What specifically do are you thinking of?
There are many answers to this question, Six. Do you follow the news? Not just the big stories but news in general? Off hand, ever hear of Iran-Contra? What about America's "War on Drugs"? The Vietnam war? The Gulf War? The list is endless, honestly, and seldom does a week go by that casual readers/listeners of news events are not tricked into believing one thing when the truth lies elsewhere.
Actually several of the components of this event bear a resemblance to the assassination of JFK. I'm sure you've heard of that!
