  I have to agree that the Watchtower officials don't believe in their own "annointed" doctrine. My mother has been claiming to be annointed for years, has been a faithful longtime pioneer, and nobody from New York has ever called her for her input. Wonder why? However, claiming to be annointed can be good for your career if you're trying to climb the ranks of the Watchtower corporate structure. LOL

  The Watchtower will slowly phase this doctrine out of existence, but the groveling sheep won't notice it until it's long, long gone.
  Don't want to upset the herd! Might get a stampede going!

  The wt doesn't believe its own theology of: faithfuldiscreetslave=governingbody=anointedones. What proves it is that the anointed gb has been rep;aced by nonanointed jws in those 4 new corporations that were formed. If fds=gb=ao was true and believed by wt, they would bring in anointed ones from the different congs to run the wt. Any anointed one at all, to the very least, if he/she is anointed could fill the gb shoes beause he/she is filled with 'jehovahs spirit'.

  Either the wt doesn't believe that crock of shit, or they don't have faith in the mt25 fds dogma. Either way, they have abandoned ship.

  I agree with MegaDude that the society will be forced to change their teaching - most likely by receiving "New Light" that all the seats upstairs are now filled. They'll continue to celebrate with the vino (hold the veritas) and anyone - ANYONE who partakes will be viewed as disgracing a sacred symbol of the sealed INVISIBLE heavenly class. Would such sacrilege become a disfellowshipping ofense? Of course it would!

  Always seemed funny to me that they didn't just use some of the remailing 8k. It seems quite telling, in retrospect.

  Truth is that there's no need to back down as most congregations do that dirty work anyway.
  Having mailed a few, it seems that quite a number have left. Some due to dissatisfaction, other due to a "changed view" of scripture.
  Those that remain are looked down upon and talked about.
  Put's me in a bit of a quandry for this coming memorial, if not before.

  There seems to be plenty of experience here of those who have jumped and those who are pushed. Which is best?
  Seems to me that landing after the fall is going to hurt anyhow.

  With respect to your possible 'quandry' over the 'coming Memorial', may I direct you to John 6:48-56, and ask you to take note of the words:

  "anyone" in verse 49

  "live forever" and "behalf of the WORLD" in verse 51

  "Unless" and "no life in yourselves" in verse 53

  "everlasting life" and "I shall resurrect him AT THE LAST DAY" in verse 54

  and "REMAINS... IN UNION WITH ME"... in verse 56

  And may I ask, after reading these verses what such words NOW meant to you?

  Did you join the "Anointed of Jehovah's Witnesses" MSN Community?
  Your choice of words and titles seem familiar to some postings that I saw there a few weeks ago.
  That board has gone deathly quiet.

  As a quick answer - I want to be anywhere my Lord is found, act as he wants me to act.
  I live by means of him, and he sustains me (daily, even hourly, moment by moment).
  My quandry is over exposing myself in this way.
  When I compare what I am now reading in God's word, with what I had been taught, I see certain disharmonies. No man has done this to me, as I was reasonably content before the Spirit started it's working in me.

  On a personal note to you. I wouldn't dare to challenge your calling (I have no right to do so), but may I suggest that you show a little prudence when you write. Bear in mind the words of the Apostle when he talked of the disharmony of many speaking in tongues. Your verbose nature, and talking of visions have unsettled a few here and ruined your credibility in their eyes.
  There is a time and a PLACE for everything.
  Just an observation.

  Yes, I did post there briefly a few weeks ago. But I was directed to 'leave' there, so I did.

  At risk of chagrining you, may I point out to you that the Bible is NOT our Father's Word, and what the BIBLE says IS that Word? Thank you.

  I am pointing this out to you because it is a VERY important 'fact', one that can lead TO Life (John 14:6) for you. Also, I have been 'directe' to point it out.

  As regards my speaking here... and my "verbose nature, and talking of visions"... may I ask you WHAT servant of the TRUE God ever sought... or HAD... 'credibility' among the people they were 'sent' to? Honey, this is not the WTBTS... I am not seeking the approval... or 'glory'... of men. I am simply hearing... and obeying. In truth, would you TRULY have me do anything else?

  Please know that if I WAS completely... heck, even MORE... 'accepted' here, I would be concerned. Why? Because many of the things my Lord has said, to ME... and as recorded... would not be true. I can start with Matthew 5:10, 11, 13-16 and Matthew 10:24-42.

  You see, it's that WTBTS that taught us to seek 'popularity' among men: "We are well-spoken of; people LOVE Jehovah's Witnesses," yada, yada, yada. (That is not entirely true, but...) But we were NOT told that such would be the case for us. We were TOLD... that we would be hated, expelled, scourged, ridiculed, persucted and even killed... for my Lord's sake. And it IS for his sake that I speak. Indeed, all I need do is deny what I hear... and refuse/refrain from speaking... and I would be 'loved'. Have you not seen what folks have said: "If you would JUST stop saying the God [through Christ] told you such and such and just speak from YOURSELF..."

  Now, honestly, LT... how can I do that? How can I take credit for what is NOT mine? I DON'T KNOW THIS STUFF. I DON'T GIVE MYSELF THIS STUFF. I DON'T SHOW MYSELF THIS STUFF. And if it occurred for ANY of you here, as it occurs for ME... you would do the same.

  What I guess I 'marvel' over is just how many so-called 'christians' here will believe a FALSE prophet when it says we are living in the time of the 'end', but completely disregard what my Father said would OCCUR just before that 'end'. (Joel 2:28, 29; Acts 2:17-19) I mean, what in the WORLD did some of you think he meant? That a group of folks would go 'door-to-door' spouting false propoganda and lying rhetoric that would lead people to THEM... rather than to the ONLY One who can grant to mankind salvation... and life?

  Here this, please, LT, and get the SENSE of it:

  What is the TRUTH that sets us free? No, it is NOT as the WTBTS claims, the 'information containd in God's Holy Word, the Bible. It IS God's Holy Word, His Son, my Lord and Master, JAHESHUA MISCHAJAH. That is why my Lord SAID: "You will KNOW the Truth, and the TRUTH... will set you free. Therefore, if the SON (the Truth) sets you free... you are TRULY free."

  I have been set free, LT. And in exchange for that 'good news' in MY life, I am indebted to the One who SET me free... to 'go'... as HE directs me... and invite any others who 'wish' it... to also be set free. Whether they HEAR... or they REFRAIN.

  IF the holy spirit is working with you, you will at some point begin to 'hear', too. In fact, you do to some extent now. You just don't know what... or rather WHO... it is that that 'speaking' to you. You, like SO many others, credit it to EVERYTHING BUT... my Lord. But I urge you, LT, as I have urged others here, please... read Proverbs 8:4-11, Hebrew 12:25, and John 10:1-6, 27. Read them, HEAR what the 'spirit' says... and get the SENSE of it.

  And do not leave off from the One inviting YOU to:

  "Come! Take 'life's water'... free!"

  Do NOT be afraid... for what can 'earthling' man do to you? Just as my Lord was recorded to have said: "Do NOT fear him that can kill the body, but be in fear of Him that can kill the body... AND THE SPIRIT... in Gehenna."

  Matthew 10:28

  So, with regard to your 'quandry over exposing [yourself]', keep in mind the words of our Lord that "he that is ashamed of ME... in front of men... I will be ashamed of HIM... in front of my Father." That organization trained and PREPARED you for the very persecution it itself is going to bring upon you. THEY are the 'world' that is going to 'hate' you, along with some that have left... and found their way here and others places. I promise you. And they are going to 'hate' you, simply because of your faith, your obedience... and your light. Because men... LOVE THE DARKNESS, RATHER THAN THE LIGHT... because it is THEIR 'works'... that are 'wicked'.

  You will see, LT, if you have the courage to do what YOU know is 'righteous' to do. But know that you are NOT alone, that there are others like you, including me... and we are here. We are ONE Body, with ONE hope, ONE faith... and ONE Lord.

  May the undeserved kindness and mercy of my God and Father, JAH OF ARMIES, and the peace of His Christ, my Lord, JAHESHUA MISCHAJAH, prove to be upon you... you and your entire household... if you so 'wish' it... to time indefinite.

  My dear sister (?) please don't misunderstand me. I wasn't trying to castigate you, just to caution prudence, as did Paul.

  In fact - blow it - the whole chapter!!!
  As well as certain "understandings", visions are something that I get from time to time, too (there we go, now I'm gonna be marked as a freak on this board, too). I speak of them only to the right audience.
  I'm going to have to go through your mail a couple of times, and check the scriptures - but I have to add that the length of it is a real turn off.

  You are quite right that we should expect trouble, but in all honesty, if you act like an oddball, you'll be treated like an oddball - a self-fulfilling prophecy.

  As for the memorial - one of my concerns would be as to which body I am adjoining myself to and setting my stall out with.
  My anointing was fairly recent, and things get clearer every day.
  I first wondered that I would have to partake, as I couldn't conscienciously let the emblems pass me without demonstrating my convictions.
  As time progresses I wonder if I will still be in the hall, come memorial time.
  I'm not confused, just learning, and the Holy Spirit is helping.

  If you want to do your bit, then don't counsel me with what I already know and understand, just pray for me.

  Dearest LT... may you have peace. And may you please know that I have 'heard' you... and will humbly endeavor to take your 'counsel' to heart, to the extent my Lord permits. However, and please don't take this the 'wrong' way, but I am compelled by the Spirit to also say to you, "All things that you wish men to do to YOU, you must likewise do to them." Why? Because YOU said:

  If you want to do your bit, then don't counsel me with what I already know and understand, just pray for me.

  May I then ask that you apply YOUR words... to YOU... as you prescribe them to me? Thank you, truthfully. For in Truth, the Spirit does not teach 'hypocrisy', dear one. Therefore, while I go away to take this 'straw' out of MY eye, I will leave you to take... well, I'm sure you get the 'picture'.
