Read a book on Ouija board experiences and research--pretty much summed up what I knew all along. They are controlled by demons, pretty plain and simple. Many examples of the person using the board for long periods of time, and after awhile, the demons don't communicate to the person via the board anymore--they just deal with the person directly, at any and sometimes all times of the day.

Don't want that in my life, that's for sure. Jesus is the light of the world...that's all I need! :)

Mat. 9:32, 12:22, 17:18 and various accounts in the gospel show Jesus ordering out demons from people. He has power over them that the demons recognize and respond to, and as James 2:19 says, they "tremble with fear."

"The Spirit says clearly that in later times some believers will desert the Christian faith. They will follow spirits that deceive, and they will believe the teachings of demons." (1 Tim. 4:1) This is clearly going on, in light of the Ouija board and other forms that detract people from Christ. Jesus came in order for people to see God and in believing and putting faith in Him gain life. The message is not any more clearer than that.

Yes, But how do you know that this Jesus you seem to know today, is the one that you are reading about in the BIBLE?

Vienna, if you read the letters of James and Timothy, you will see that Christians back then believed they were living in the "later times".

Fear is the improper use of the imagination. Superstition is ridiculous and illogical.

If you believe the bible, then demons exist. If they exist, why do they need to contact anyone at all? All humans are fulfilling the desires of biblical sin every day. Every day, we lie, we cheat, we steal, etc.. Therefore, if their goal is to get us to sin, they have already succeeded. Who needs contact?

See how ridiculous it all sounds?

I used a Ouji board once in 8th grade--I was shocked that because I was a Jehovah's Witness, it didn't sprout wings and fly off, or spontaneously combust. *sigh* nothing out of the ordinary happened. Now I regularly read Tarot, and use the pendulum. I use these mediums to access my subconscious or intuition. Often they are very insightful. I never use them to "tell the future", as I don't believe in that either. I have never had any attacks or even contact with "demons". Of course, I do not beleive in demons, the devil, or even god (in the classical, biblical sense), so that's probably why. It's all the human mind and your belief system. If your belief system is based on a fear, then you will probably manifest or attract things that are fearful.
