I have one word that will stop you.

Soup.

You will lose the bet.

Soup could be a problem, but not as bad as syrup would be. I am not a messy eater, that's my wife's job. She seems to always get something on her shirt. I've had enough practice with the short beard to avoid most food issues.

MY man does not need my permission to do anything. and anything he really wants to do he does. however, i doubt that he would ever grow his beard like that (though i do like beards) because i just do not think it is attractive. best wishes, nowisee
