Like another poster here, I have a visceral reaction to Tuesday and Thursdays. Whenever I think of Tuesday meetings, I remember how much I loved it when we missed the service meeting and got home in time to watch most of Happy Days(major Tues/JW association whenever I see on of the actors on it. Scott Baio, Ron Howard, Mr. Cunningham, Fonzie. . .)I still take perverted pride in the fact that I always aced those quizzes we had every few months. I am a freak who misses working in the kitchen(cause it got me out of the boring assembly and I got to visit and I love to feed people)I sometimes look at the clock and am REALLY glad I am not at the book study--my LEAST favorite meeting of the week!!! Horrid books, and they went on and on for MONTHS-YEARS. Isn't torture illegal?

I am pretty morally conservative, though I've lost the "holier than thou" beliefs and am pretty much ok with things people do as long as it doesn't hurt other people or the earth.
I am very disturbed by world events, though no longer because I think the "big a" is coming.....just because knowing of so much suffering and destroying the environment is really hard to hear. The universe is a brutal place. I have to take breaks from listening to the news...in fact, I'm about due for a break.
I have a phobia about taking factor infusions, though no longer because I think a deity is going to execute me for it.....and no longer because I believe any of the false teachings about the medical risks.....I just have a lingering anxiety about it because of having the supposed risks drummed into my head as a child. When I have infusions, I sob and have a hard time not hyperventilating. I do not normally display emotions in front of others, so it is a huge embarassment for me. I have to tell myself over and over the supposed medical risks aren't true.....I know that on a logical level, but.....

Isn't that a conscience matter now? No, seriously I have voted in the last two presidential elections and have been on my best friends case to do so who has faded. He dosen't vote because he still holds onto to some ideas of not being part of the world. I told hm that the witnesses now believe this is a conscience matter because I read a post on here from questions from readers or something talking about it.
My question is would a brother be dissed for voting right now?

I think the worst of all is that I sometimes dream I'm a witness again, and in certain situations that I don't agree with like placing watchtowers or having to tell people why I don't celebrate christmas.

I just took my Mercedes 450sl down and had the body guy cut a couple of back doors in. I was feeling so unworthy driving around with only 2.
