correct me if I'm wrong, but you don't get stone for saying you've been around for a long time or for being crazy. Was it not understood by the Jews that what Jesus was saying was a claim to diety?
LOL. At the time (i.e. Before the formulation of various Christian doctrines attempting to explain the nature of Christ) claiming that you were "Older than Abraham" would have amounted to the same thing. -
