Mr. E. says, "Are the magic practicing priests from The Almighty or from satan? If you partake of the offerings to satan, you are therefore placing another above The Almighty God correct? If you use candles to ward off evil spirits are you not putting faith in a material object, or idol as you would know it?"
Shelly wonders: Just what kind of birthdays do you GO to? I have never been to one that has magic practicing priests from satan or god. I have NEVER partaken in an offering to Satan. I have never used candles in any way to ward off evil spirits nor have I put faith in them. In fact, I don't think that anyone here besides you has ever done that with a birthday celebration. I am very shocked-as that is not what our birthday celebrations are about CULTURALLY. I would certainly not wish my child to attend that type of party, and since that is the kind you are familiar with and have attended, I can certainly understand your dis-ease with the idea. I would be interested to know how many others here have such idolatrous celebrations? What happens after you do all that idolatrous stuff? I have never participated in idolatry and have no ideas of what immediate or long term spiritual decay could happen with such practices.

I am instructed to write what I do. The Almighty knows every text written in existence. The essence of what is written in the bible might emanate from what I post.
I have been asked if I write for the W.T.S. I do not however the words translated by them originated with the Father in the Heavens. Yet many claim a copywrite to the writings. This is illegal in any Christian meaning. You received freely, therefore you give freely.......

I was just pointing out the origin of the practice of celebrating birthdays. I don't practice these things.
Those that celebrate them have no idea of their origin. So why look down upon them? Share in gatherings of Love always, and safeguard yourself from that which might corrupt your childs spirit.
