Your husband is hanging on to things he was taught. Try reasoning with him if he's willing to listen. Your kids are missing out, and that's a sad thing. As for those who turned their backs on you because you were wise enough not to get baptized.....well what kind of real friends would do that? They kicked you to the curb....welcome to the curb we've been waiting for you with open arms.

Does your husband have many JW family to hang on for? If not since he barely goes he is prime for learning the truth about the WTS and moving on. It would make it far easier on him and the rest of the family. If this has been going on for so many years it may be time to make a stand. Let him know you do not like having the kids being stuck in this form of limbo where they are missing out on the best of both worlds. You have been doing a lot of research and now know it is not the truth, and would like him to do some research also and make up his mind. (Only you know him enough to know if this is a wise move, as other said, you need to determine first if this could drive him further into the Org)
