Thanks for sharing my happiness with me, peeps! Here's an update:
My son called me again just a bit ago and he's just thrilled to find me here. I'm just words falling all over themselves trying to tell him everything and ask him about everything about them all at once.
Ya know what he told me when I told him how sorry I was for so many things I said and did and didn't say and do when he was growing up? He said, "What? You didn't do or say anything wrong!" I assured him that I definitely did, but he doesn't see it. He said that it's just so wonderful to be able to talk with me at last.
He's working late and has an AA meeting to attend, but will call after a while, so I'm gonna see what I can find out about any plans to travel this way, perhaps this next Spring. :) I know they'll drive, and winter weather's too tricky between here and Colorado for them to attempt it before then.
