It is almost impossible to comprehend what you must of felt losing touch with a son. I can't imagine the pain of searching and wondering for 16 years.. I am so happy for you and hope you never lose touch again. Enjoy your Grand Babies, and the rest of your lives together and connected....What a gift!

He's called several times this evening. :)
I spoke with his wife this evening. They're doing wonderfully and he has two great sons, 18 and 16 yo.
He says he's going to buy a house this coming year and plans to send for me to come up to Colorado for a visit when they have the extra room.
My daughter-in-law's b'day is today, so I'm sending her a new sweater as soon as I can get one made. She loves my crocheted sweaters.
They both sound so wonderful!
For those of you who have family members that you've been estranged from over an exodus from the WTS, don't give up hope. I lost contact with my son for 16 yrs from before leaving the WTS (he left first). We're finally all reunited!
It can happen to YOU!

Wonderful news!!! So happy for you. We "lost" our son and his family a couple years ago to the WT. I pray someday he'll see that we still love him, unconditionally. I'm thankful our other children and their families are out, and we are a loving family.

I haven't seen my brother in over 40 years..he is in Calif. and I am in Missouri..
Now he is trying to get me to move to Reno when he does in January.
I want to see him but I am really uncertain about moving away from my kids and grandkids...
Yet so much time has gone by and I miss my brother..
I bet you will be so happy to see your son!
