Although solace is something you and I came here for, not everyone had that same intent. For some, their sole purpose was to tear down from the very beginning.
You seem to have grown a lot just in the last two weeks or so. I enjoy your posts much more.
I for one REALLY liked what Tallyman had to say. I plan on sticking around because I feel I REALLY can make a difference on this board, even in the face of evil.

I think it was you who responded to my post that questioned how we would ever get anywhere if we continued to treat each other as badly as the JWs treated us. And your answer was right on the money.
I'm one of those naive folks who believe that if you identify a problem, people will go "ah-haaaa, so that's the problem" and give up the behavior. Doesn't seem to happen does it?
What we have here is a typical Jehovah's Witness congregation in microcosm, online, complete with each and every personality type.
And I'm pretty tired of dealing with some of the read turdheads who post here, like you are too apparently. Next time I come up to the big city, perhaps we can slip over to Calcutta in Little Five and leap upon some ethnic delights. You game?

Exactly! I fully concur. Running IS exactly what "evil" wants you to Do. "Evil" took YOUR power and you let "It". Yet that is your choice...so be it.

I wish to retract the following statement:
There is an evil power controlling this board.
I have received emails stating Simon is indeed NOT evil. I agree. Simon is not evil. The above statement is being construed by some that this is what I meant. That is not what I meant.
I do believe the board does more harm than good so I am moving on. For what its worth, this is not the only group I am leaving. I am also leaving my local bear club and the national bear discussion group for many of the same reasons I am leaving this group.
Who knows, I might just end up moving to Antartica.

Billygoat - I appreciate your comments but I fail to see how I have grown up in the last few weeks. I used to speak my mind - and I still have the same thoughts and feelings, I just choose to no longer share them because people here fail to understand where I am coming from. Also, you attract more flys with honey or so the saying goes.
Joelbear - I knew what you meant, Simon is NOT evil, but there are many nasty posters here that attack without cause or create arguments simply for arguments sake. But, you have accomplished more than you think, because you have encouraged many persons (like me) to look at the brighter side of things. You will be missed, although I hope you do post once in a blue moon.

I agree that time spent here, or just about anywhere in cyber space, can be better put to use in other activities. Although I do believe that some of the people on this board seem nice, it's just not the same thing as enjoying the people that we can see with our own eyes and come in contact with as we endeavor to live our lives.
