Please help me with this...

What have been the MOST effective reasons that you've given to the people that you love for why you're no longer a witness?

Considering that most dubs have the attention span of a 2 year old for anything from an a-prostate, please be consise and succint with your answers. Just trying to plant some seeds of reasoning.... maybe in-depth discussions with those folks will come at a later time.

1.) Point to a playgroung full of children and ask - "If armageddon can today would you really rejoice and the sight of birds feasting on these children?"

2.) "Are you 100% sure in your heart and mind that any and every non witness is deserving of death?"

3.) "I know you are 110% sure that what you believe is the truth. But if someone else who is 120% sue that what they believe is the truth and has twice as much faith in their beliefs as you. And they also have 10 times the amount of Biblical scriptures to back up their beliefs, how can you then say with certanty that you are correct and they are wrong and deserve to die?" - "Did the mother of Judas love her son any less the Mary loved Jesus?"

1). They have been totally inconsistant in discussing the reasons why Jesus Christ chose them in 1918/1919. They have even hidden and lied about what they taught and believed during this time to make it appear that they where the best thing on earth. (Angels and Women, teaching that Russell was the 'servent', other forms of spiritism in 'The Finished Mystery', promoting sectarianism, war bonds, ect.)

2). They have changed their Bible. Examples can be given from the 'Kingdom Interlinear' that show they have butchered the Bible. My favorite point is that in order to insert the name Jehovah into the NT text they have to say that the original Bible manuscripts 'have been tampered with'. If the Bible has been tampered with how can we trust it????

Just some thoughts

Is that not what they say?

Ask them and they will say no. Then ask "Well if I left the JW's and became a Babtist(or whatever) and I still followed the Bible could I survive Armageddon?" or even if I did not join any religion.
