I can only imagine what you have been thru!! You've been to hell and back, in more ways than one. I truly hope that healing can start for you now. I pray you will let us help you! Know you are among friends and family now. You will run across the occasional squabble, but we do all pull together. Just post what and when you want to. We all look forward to getting to know you better!

Thanks for taking care of us all... for the ones that Love you AND the ones that despise you... You're a better man than I !

You said that you were a JW before you left... I'm curious... A JW in the Service???? You must have some story to tell!

    Welcome to the forum.

You said you were a JW when you left - left where? Iraq? Did you convert to JW when you were in Iraq? Or were you a JW when you left for Iraq? In which case, what were you doing in the military if you were/are a JW?

Glad you're home, XS. Between the JWs and your tour of duty, it sounds like you've had more than your fair share of trauma. And now you have the difficult task of adjusting to life back home. I would suggest seeing your doctor or a therapist to help ease the transition you're making right now. Good luck.

Sounds like PTSD to me. I think that you're going to have to make yourself go sit at a couple of meetings (PTSD) to see how you like it. My husband was in the military. He suffers from PTSD, but having a family around helps him to get by.

The witness part, I'll let everybody else give their thoughts on it. You are, definitely, dealing with a lot of stressors. Hopefully, you'll be feeling better soon.

For some one who has served our country, this needs to remain at the top.

    BTT.
