That is quite different to what you yourself did. Your experience of slowly removing yourself and your family from the organization is still on Randy's site.
Do you not recommend that now,. .(new light perhaps)?

The more you learn the easier it will be for you to realise you can no longer be part of the Organization. However, there are significant consequenses leaving. There is no rush, so take your time, otherwise you risk loosing (if applicable) family and friends. Spend a lot of time reading this site to find out how others left and their reasons. Unfortunately you can not speak to people in your congregation about what you have found for fear of being disfellowshipped, and if there is any hint that you do not believe all Watchtower doctrine the elders will be very quick to disfellowship you. You may even feel you want to be d/f at the moment, but take your time, because when the shock wears off you might decide fading is better.
Now that that you are aware the WTS can not be trusted jwfacts.com has a lot of information on changes and incorrect doctine that will also help with your decision.

If you move to Bulgaria and have an accident that causes you to lose a lot of blood don't worry, the WTBTS entered into an agreement with the government of Bulgaria and the European Human Rights Commission. In exchange for recognising JW's as a religion the WTBTS agreed not to sanction members in Bulgaria for receiving any medical care and/or procedures. How do you like them apples?

Only you can decide what direction to take in your life.
Read. Research everything you can. Try looking in the Best of section of the board. Some of the wonderful people have researched and posted a lot of information an dit is well supported.
Many find a great temptation to want to share what they have found out about the WTS. They think if they tell other people they will see what you see. But you need to be very clear about where YOU are before you start trying to help others.
Most people here will let you know that life outside the WTS is good. But sadly it comes with a price especially when the price is loss of family and friends
Take care of YOU first. The rest can come later
