Thanks for the information. I really admire you as where I am right now in my healing, the thought of their lies and the idea of sitting down and listening to more of them just makes me mad. I guess I should pity them. I probably will pity them. But, right now, I'm still stuck at anger and I'm d*mn sure not going to force my healing process after I've put it on hold for four years.

Jeff or anyone else who may want to order the boxers w/this logo - they have no button in the fly. Just thought that was a very important bit of info seeing how important our "dress" is.

I'd like to confirm Blondie's suspicion that the society is whipping the congregation in to another end-time fury.
There have been a lot of emails going around the JW circuit laltey, about how the world hates religion and so forth. The recent article by Sam Harris (The End of Faith) published in Newsweek (I think) caught the attention of quite a few JW's.

three qualities were listed that a Witness must have to survive Armageddon; speech, conduct, and attitude.
Well.....from what I have seen....the JWs pretty much have the "attitude" part down alright.

Hey, I remember Alan Murray. He served in our circuit once in BC. He gave one of the all-time most hated illustrations I have ever heard in a public talk. He told the story of a witness family, who instead of going out in service on Saturday morning with their children like they were supposed to, went shopping at the mall instead. They left their two kids at home. The kids decided to cook their own lunch and set the house on fire and were both burned to death. Now imagine brothers and sisters, if this family had of been out in the service like they should have been, this horrible tragedy would never have happened! (insert puking sounds here! )

CD, I wonder what he would say about the JW family on their way home from a convention who turned off at a rest stop and were robbed and murdered. If they hadn't gone to the convention, it wouldn't have happened.
What about the family on their way home from the meeting that were hit by a drunk driver and all killed instantly. If they hadn't gone to the meeting, they would still be alive today.
What about the woman who was home one day to meet someone who was buying something she advertised in a weekly shopper, and was inviscerated and had her unborn baby (but living still) stolen by this woman. If she had been out in field service, she would be alive today.
What about the JW family on their way home from a circuit assembly and were hit by a speeding driver wiping out 3 generations of JWs. If they had stayed home from the assembly, they would be alive today.
I'm sure we can find more stories. If I had been at the convention where Mr. Murray said that, you can bet Blondie would have pulled him aside and told him how unscriptural his comment was and cruel.

.... you pay attention to the one who wears the fine clothing and say, "Have a seat here, please," while you say to the poor man, "Stand there," or, "Sit at my feet," have you not made distinctions among yourselves, and become judges with evil thoughts?
