The little red sugar-shell is back! We have so much to rejoice over - MsMcDucket's sister is better and my looney-toon friends really love me. I'm so overwhelmed with happiness, I'm gonna take a nap!

I just returned from a fantastic choral presentation, where a student's mother performed. Tomorrow I'm going to see that student perform the lead in an adaptation of a famous Broadway play. This is my new "family" - they introduced me to everyone as Uncle "CoCo" !
Three of my students saw me and asked to sit with me! Saw another mother, whose children I taught years ago. I discovered that I can be in crowds, restrangled! When it's joyous music, right on! HOWEVER, WT conventions and ass'ies always made me ill - psychosomatic, maybe?
I am looking into becoming a party-animal. Those days of bowing and scraping before Baal-Watch Tower are bye-bye.

Dear Diary,

A beautiful new day! It was so good to hear from Miss Crumpets and Tea. She and other dear ones from JWD got me through my current ordeal swimmingly. Love and peace to them all!
They may say it's a matter of conscience, but HUMBUG! I was defiant, as party animals are wont to be. For a few years now I've demurred when asked by a friend to attend a regular choral presentation in which she sings. Problem? It's held in a local church. Great acoustics. The denomination of my early childhood. Sis and I walked unescorted to Sunday School every week, back in our old hometown.
Anyways .......... I says to myself, I've been a good little boy for so many years now, I wanna be radical and have a little enjoyment fer once. Go in through the doors and into the Sanctuary where the performance is to be. You know what, Miss Crumpet? Not a single demon swooped down from the rafters nor the stained glasses and messed with my mind nor shredded my corporeal person! But I was happy - my friends, also, that I was there - and I do not think my joyous state of mind was demon influence.
An elder's wife was there and said her hubby was to be there if off work in time. I don't need another's confirmation of 'ya know what, it really is all right!' All this fuss over naught.
Can a fader become a successful party animal and yet draw no fire?

No.............What you are going to find, is you are moving into a vortex......That the two forces are on a collision path............and what happened last week is just the begining. This is the "voice of Christmas future." This is the old "you can run but you cannot hide". I wish I had some good news for you. Remember I was in for 52 years.

Dear Diary,

Just received best wishes from a fellow Bethelite. While my little story was meant as satire, I realize the validity of what he's saying. And I do appreciate it. I am in a vortex, caught in between various warring factions of backsliders and faders and bellicose DFd individuals. Not to mention true-blue JWs, who are still very much part of my life. They all seek my help and support, and it is making me crazy. Soon it will change - inexorably.
Professional help? Oh yes, I quite agree, and am seeking it. "He ain't heavy - he's my brother." I want to help him, but I am crushed under his weight ........
Message appreciated, Keith. Will endeavor to apply your wisdom borne of pain.
