Glad the op went well.
Just a bit of advice though, I was told when my son had his tonsils and adenoids out (aged 3) that you shouldn't feed them jello and soft foods, but things like toast and crunchy cereals and potato chips. Doing this removes any build up on the scar in the throat. If they only eat soft foods then a thick scab can build up on the scar and if it shears off this can cause a haemorrage.
My little one was eating toast on the same day as he had the op with no problems at all.
This is good to hear, as after posting yesterday, I went upstairs to find she had devoured a snack size bag of SunChips and about an hour after that, became pretty grumpy and crashed on my bed til 10. I was worried that the chips could do more harm. This makes sense I have to tell you, so thank you so much for the advice!!! Think I'll try some toast with her this morning.
Never give up hoping
Steven Hassan says the same in Releasing the Bonds.
I know of a very strong elder that shunned his son for 20 years. The week before he died he went to visit his son and begged for forgiveness for the way he had treated him. You when or what may make things change.
This is good to hear. I'll keep this in mind, really. I just can't believe the mind control. I suppose now that I've been out a year I forget how easy it all is. StarMoore and I were talking about this yesterday. How we would have died for this, let alone give up family and friends. Simply amazing. Thank you jw.
Kids sure have their priorities right lol!!
Ha! You got that right Emo!! She came home and lounged on her bed and watched More Spongebob along with Jimmy Neutron and Fairly Odd Parents til she ate my chips and crashed on my bed. Haha, smart kid.
Never give up hoping, no matter how bleak it looks - you just never know...
Thank you Emo. Right now, I think I have to figure out some stuff.
