Dog. I think he is going to kill me. He has single-handedly destroyed an entire rainforest by means of all the paper towels I've used to clean up his pee. And he only weighs 5 pounds yet, but he has the loudest bark I've ever heard... which he uses to practice Arias at 3:00am. Shoot me now.
Impulsive buyer....What was I thinking?~?

I bought hull-free (actually very reduced) m/w popcorn for $25 from qvc. Its actually really good, but I feel very stupid for paying that much money just so I can enjoy popcorn w/0 dental issues. Then again, gotta have popcorn!

I once went to an auction to buy photo equipment, and left with a 34' motor home.

Went to a party once and ended up crashing there. It was a big party with lots of people and lots of alcohol.
I woke up with a god-awful fierce headache. I felt like my eyes were simply going to pop out of my skull. So... on the way home I decide to pop into Fry's and buy a CD burner for my PC. I mean, I've used it a number of times, but... WTF?

I bought a 2 foot ceramic pig last year...I can't have any pets so I think it was a withdrawl thing...just the other day I couldn't resist one of those 4 foot (or so) fuzzy bears holding the 'welcome' signs that are everywhere in the shops right now. He's wearing a winter stocking cap and scarp - think I'll leave him in the living room all year just cos I like him!....sammieswife.

I tend to buy clothes if they look like a bargain, whether I really need them or not. I suppose I do it because I can these days, being much better off financially now I'm out of the org.

I used to spend more impulsively but got sick of having a house full of old gadgets and crap so now I don't buy something unless I really need it and know I'm going to get a lot of use out of it.
Also, don't just look at the price, consider the real cost in terms of "possible future value" of the money you will be spending. So, £100 isn't £100 ... it is potentially £250 after being invested with compound interest etc...
Compare spending it now and having a 10-year old, out of date gadget that will sell for £1 on eBay to saving it for those 10 years and being able to buy an incredibly cool gadget that will then be brand new and probably only cost £1*
* of course, some things you really need the use of in the meantime !!
