They learned....from the Governing Body ..... to be cheap. If you were at Bethel, you REALLY know how cheap they are!

Good point Randy. Imitation is the most sincere form of successful mind-control. The GB taught the rank and file how to behave, they behaved as programmed. What's the problem?

Does it occur to anyone that with all the money given as strict donations for all the decades-over a century of being in operation. The wills, the free labor, etc. etc. etc. All that stuff for "world wide work" that it is obscene that the only way that brothers and sisters in disadvantaged nations could have literature is because they no longer 'charge' for it? All that money to the WWW and poor JWs still didn't get a bible? What were they doing with the money? Is that why they 'worship' in grass huts still some places in Africa? It seems like there is all kinds of money avail for all the new buildings in the US, but in other places-they can't get help to put a roof over them in the heat of Africa! Even though there is amazing amounts of money avail to the org.

I don't know. It seems immoral all around. If they are being so dang 'generous' then why couldn't they do it when they charged? And now, it seems like a false 'donation' arrangement in any case-so are those folks in Africa and little villages in Indonesia really able to get the Bibles and other books? I'm kind of doubting it.

this gave me an idea: if no one gave the wts money, would they go bankrupt? i so, they should forcibly charge people. for literature so the cong doen't pay. then mabe people will leave!

Well they sure as hell like taking their sweet time in coughing up the CD's. I've been waiting for over 2 months now to get mine (through an insider)......I told her that when she finally gets it, to put an "I.O.U. nothing" into the Contribution Box.

I think we need a campaign to publicly embarrass the WT on this subject. "Has YOUR kingdom Hall paid its literature bill?" "Our congregation has good credit with the WT, so come get your free literature over here? Just a couple of dollars will do!" LOL Randy
