One of the worst things I've ever heard *WARNING: DISTURBING*

I turn into a raging bear anytime anyone threatens my kids.

I do too. I can't even think about what other things happen in this world. My kids are my life. My saying is "if you ever touch my kid in anyway I will be after you until the day I die...you will wish you were never born". The wild bear (as you said) comes out strong if my kids are harmed. Just reading this story brings anger in my soul. These are the times that I agree with the death penalty. The story of the gal drowning her 4 kids (or was it 5) is still stuck in my brain. Some people are just sick.

The word "wicked" comes to mind.

Yeah, I mean... I can't fathom what would cause someone to want to kill their own children. That being said, if your sick, deranged psychotic mind (because I cannot conceive of anyone sane taking that course of action) somehow wanted to kill your children, why wouldn't you choose a painless, quick method? A MICROWAVE? DROWNING? Or the woman in Plano that hambeak mentioned, who cut off her eleven-month old baby's arms, and allowed her to bleed to death?

Those are all terrible, awful, worst-case-scenario ways to go. You can't cut off someone's arms without a fucking BONE SAW or other serrated implement. One can only hope that that little girl passed out from the pain before she experienced too much. In that last case, there was a clear failure on the part of CPS and the state mental health institution, and the father. Multiple failure points.

And yet I hear horror stories of people taking their kids to the emergency room with some bruise or broken arm, obtained honestly, and the ER staff calls up CPS and the kids are taken away. I am hypersensitive to any visible bruises my kids carry when I even take them to the pediatrician (though my kids are FAR from having any kind of abused personality markers.)

    This is what bugs me!

The night before the baby was taken to the hospital, Arnold and the child's father went out for a short time and left Paris with a baby sitter, Rion said.

The mother didn't sense anything out of the ordinary until the next morning, when the child was found unconscious, Rion said.

Ok, lets say they did go out and the babysitter did that. Are you telling me they couldnt tell something was wrong till morning??? I know that when my kids were that young, I checked on them all through the night. Makes me ill!

"Who in their right mind would put a baby in a microwave oven???"

No one, of course. That sentence almost makes you chuckle in fact, it's so over-the-top. In almost every case, the mother is in a psychotic delusional state, and has a head full of old testament stories and God's voice speaking to her. In Texas, in just the past several years, I can think of at least 4 cases where Jehovah got busy: Drowning (5 kids) Heads bashed in by large rocks (3 kids) arms cut off (1 kid) drowning (2? kids).

These things sound horrible, but remember that the kids had only to endure a short period of pain and terror (not nearly as bad as a JW kid in Malawi), and yet are spared a lifetime in this evil (amazing above said "wicked") old world while gaining an eternity in heaven. These mom's loved their kids.

This case? Who knows. The "microwave" part of this one makes me think this is different; probably just old fashioned mean. The Darlene Ruetier case is another one that has no clear psychotic element too.

    OK She was obviously nuts.

    But what are we?

Two days funding for the worlds military is all it would take to save 15 million children from starving to death every year.

That what I was thinking. I check them during naps to make sure they are breathing. There is no way a good mother would't sense something out of the ordinary. Especially if the baby had high body temp, thats something I always notice.

Whomever did this is a diseased, parasitic piece of offal and needs to be cleansed by fire.

How sad! There are couples out there that would love to be able to have children. There are so many undeserving parents.
