Do the FDS use Spiritism to contact the '24 Elders' and the 144000?

the 24 elders portray Jesus’ anointed footstep followers in their heavenly position, for Jesus made a covenant with them to sit on thrones in his Kingdom. (Luke 22:28-30)

It is hard to write this because I am laughing. Who are the 24 elders, are they 24 individual angels or are they symbolic of a group of angels, namely the 144,000? The WT just said they "portray" the 144,000. So they are not 24 actual dudes who lived on earth and were resurrected.

Now read the 1-1-2007 wt, page 28 par 11:

"If one of the 24 elders was used to convey that important truth, he would have had to be resurrected to heaven by 1935 at the latest."

Can anyone scan and post this for those of us who are deemed too apostate to receive the magazines?

I think it's another case of do as we say and not as we do. Anything the FDS does is clearly sanctioned by god but if you do it it must be the demons.

Also if the WTS does not believe it is communicating with Angels then it shouldn't write things like " if one of the 24 elders, (an Angel) ,was used to convey that important truth." How else should a reader construe that statement.

<Ahem>... erm... OK ...OK I'll 'fess. Yeah I know how its done.

You heard that the FDS are god's "channel"?

And you heard about "channelling"? right?

All these guys need to do is go into this whirly kinda trance and voila! You channel up an "elder/demon"

Stick that in yer pipe Ted

Surely the words and expression 'Channelling' and 'Guiding' are all words used by Spiritualists who believe in contacting spirit creatures.

Why do the WTBTS use these phrases if they are so against spiritism?

Woodsman - That's very interesting. First the 24 Elders were representative of the 144 000.

Now they have become individual 24 Elders. I wonder at what point the FDS were 'channelled' and 'guided' to this 'new light'?

I always find it amusing that when ghosts are interviewed by those TV performers with the uncanny power to contact the world beyond the veil, the ghosts invariably demonstrate extreme ignorance - as though the part of their invisible immortal souls that keeps track of such things was suffering from lack of oxygen. "What was my name?" "What was my favorite color?" "I knew someone with an 'M' in their name; I think they were a dog, but they might have been a cat."

Just as these TV ghost-tards are profoundly stupid, so it seems are the elder-tards and angel-tards that serve the Heavenly Throne, which I am starting to suspect is the galactic loo.

Why can't the "24 elders" identify themselves? Is that too much to ask?

"Chuck Russell, is that YOU behind that there curtain? Don't you be hanging out with ol' Drunk Joe!"

The man who wrote the book said he saw 24 individuals. Much later the WTB&TS helped out by saying that each individual was a composite of 6,000 individuals, and now they seem to be saying they are individual entities again.
