According to Ray Franz, they just sit around the table and argue and then vote. No "contacting" the spirit world or even consulting their Bibles. It is all politics and 2/3 of all members, and not just of those present, carries the day.

However, they claim that the 24 elders are 'channelling' information and 'guiding' them! They claim that individuals of the 24 elders are doing this!
During their votes, is this elder rushing around picking up their arms! I don't mean to sound silly about this! They are not saying that they sit around and vote and have a 2/3 majority. They claim 'intervention' from the spirit realm in their decisions!
