I am dealing with some sinus problems right now, still using the Sinucleanse, boy what a help especially in the morning helps get all that junk out of your head. It has to be one of the best non drug treatment I've ever had.

I got a neti pot from healthandyoga.com - the stainless steel one. It is great - whenever I get a cold, I tend to get a secondary infection and be blocked up for months afterwards. Now I use the neti pot and get rid of it in a week or so.
Its always difficult at first though, cos if you're really clogged up, the water can't flow through. It takes lots of patience ... but after a day or two of trying, it will start to loosen up enough to get a bit of water actually going through.
I must admit, it feels really great to rinse out all the crud that is up there - when you get some out its like a small victory against the germs! Go Green!!!!!

Me Too! I smoke and I get to where I'm "snorting" all the time. I have a little blue plastic netty pot from Walgreens. Its all you need, everyone who doesn't have a netty pot and an iPhone is a fool.

I don't suffer sinus problems much but early this year I had one. I bought a Netti Pot and I used it. I like it but the drowning feeling freaks me out a little. Only because I know what it feels like to drown. I have to take deep breaths through my mouth to keep from freaking out really bad.

Interesting reading... I get a sinus infection/cold/throat infection/post nasal drip at least every two months and antibiotics dont really seem to work too well. My GP doesn't seem to think that it is a problem that I get sick every two months, but it is really affecting my quality of life - at least 3 out of every 8 weeks I feel like death! So after this last episode (which started last week) I finally made an appointment to see an ENT specialist who I am seeing this afternoon... now I am wondering whether I should just use this contraption??
My sister in NYC told me she had bought one at a yoga retreat that she has just been on, but I have to say that I haven't seen them in this country!

Gotta love advertising - there is an ad at the top of my screen for a Neti Pot distributor in SA - I have to say that it looks terrifying to use!
