I don't know what I have to add to a show like this, but I would love to add my voice to the complaint of why there isn't more concern with cults in this country (or the world for that matter). I've been damaged in a real and lasting way by associating with this group. The intimidation and mental coercion that they perform, supposedly as servants of god, should be illegal or at least exposed so those getting involved can make an informed decision to do so.

WE NEED TO BAND TOGETHER to put our voices out there unitedly, publicly, as many of us as feel that we can risk it--or who feel the risk is greater to ourselves if we do not risk it! I've got one--two--persons on board. Seriously, not that I'm advocating this, but how many of you would really like to stand up in the middle of an assembly and scream, DO YOU NOT KNOW THAT THIS MAN IS A RAPIST????!!!! That's how I have felt each time I entered my KH and the assembly hall, especially for the circuit of my ex-husband's new congregation. HE LOOKS SO GOOD, in good standing there. And me on the outs, because I have stopped attending. HOW MANY OF THEM ARE THERE OUT THERE???? How will we ever know, except by banding together?

I'll be very surprised if Dr. Phil Show calls though. He has ignored all emails and phone calls when it comes to THIS cult.

I know they have a roster of upcoming show topics that they want to feature, and I'm sure they want to stick with that--you know, to run things in an orderly fashion. Do the emails and calls you've known of get sent in response to what's on that roster? (On the website, click Upcoming Shows, then click Be on the Show to see what kinds of stuff they're looking for at present. The one I'm responding to is, Do You Need Help Resolving an Ethical Dilemma?
I'm quite sure this whole thing presents one GIANT ethical dilemma for all involved! Especially for the honest-hearted ones, who WANT the truth and justice to prevail in these situations. [Which is ironic, since the organisation says you're honest-hearted only if you go along/ agree with their--even overtly asinine!--decisions. Yeesh.]
Maybe people searching this site can agree to keep an eye on the Upcoming Shows list and watch for upcoming topics that our situation could fall neatly--or even loosely--under...and then A WHOLE BUNCH OF US can deluge them with emails and offers to appear on the program. Even just 3 or 4 guests agreeing should be strongly persuavive to the producers, wouldn't you think?
FOR EVERYONE OUT THERE: If you have a story to contribute but want to remain anonymous, then that can be arranged, too...either by appearing as an 'identity well-protected' guest or by allowing a letter to be read that omits name-and-location identifiers.
