Dear Ringers Out & Janus,
It's twenty minutes to midnight. I'm going to join up now with Nancy Drew, George Fayne, Bess Marvin, Jack Kingdon and Togo. We're staying at the old Conger Estate, which is on the ocean. Literally ON the ocean. The place has been neglected for years and the sea has been eating away at the foundation. Should be fun, being with all my old chums. We finally caught Jocko and brought him home to his delighted and much relieved family. We'll drink soda pop and sing camp fire songs.
It is 1937, isn't it?

OK, now we're listening to the neighbors set off firecrackers while we share a glass of Bushmills.
Happy 2007, ever'body.

Andy and I watched Garrison Keiler's New Year's Show on PBS. We found respite from the grandkiddies on my comfy sofa. We cuddled, smiled a lot at each other. Had a kiss here and there and I had a glass of cherry wine. Then I hugged him lots and he sleepily headed off to the bedroom aka The Land of Knod. Say, I think I'll have another glass of that wine.
"Sweet cherry wine. (Ahhh ahh). Fruit of the vine. (Ahhh ahh).Drink it right down. Pass it all around." Thank you Tommy James.

Just got back from Time Square, NYC... wow was it crowded. The weather was warm, the crowd excited but there were too many people, we were all squished together. But it was fun to watch... next year I plan to go again but this time I will arrive a few hours earlier and bring a folding chair. Maybe I'll hold up the new JWD sign in front of ryan seacrest.
